Grad Night - Same weekend as our trip!

We booked a short notice trip next week and are staying in the cabins at Fort Wilderness. I just found out that Grad Night is same weekend (April 28-29). What should we expect as far as teenagers and crowds?

I wouldn't worry about it to much. I went to our grad night here in panama city, fl. There is just a LOT of kids and all these kids are seniors in high school so for the most part they know how to behave. On the other hand it's there last time to unwind from high school so there is rowdyness.

We were there in 2000 for a couple of Grad Night weekends and didn't notice much. I think they pretty much have the park all night and into the wee-hours of the AM so most don't show up until the park closes - I wouldn't worry.

What you will have to worry about is that MK will close early both nights and there will be no fireworks or Spectro either night, however MK is the only park affected, "Grad Night" doesn't go on in any of the other parks ;)

Since Grad Night is for Florida teens only (I think), they bus these teens in for the separate ticketed nighttime event. The large majority of the teens would not be in the park during its regular operating hours. However, like Toulouse said, MK will close early because of it.
