I've spent time at the Fort Fisher area, I actually grew up in Wilmington, but I've stayed in the lodging at Ft Fisher, it's not technically the outer banks, but it's great, right across the street from the beach, and an area of the beach thats not SUPER busy in the summer time, most of the houses had LOTS of room, you could really bring a large bunch if you wanted to, but anyways, thats enough on that, if you have anymore questions feel free to drop me a line, I'm very familiar with the area :) Have a good vacation whatever you decide!
