VMK helped me!!

My parents always said that vmk is a waste of time and doesn't help me but there is one thing it has helped me with my typing now since vmk I can type really fast has this happened to anyone else!

I know, VMK taught me how to type so fast. I dont do it with the put fingers on asdf and jkl; technique, but I do it pretty fast if you ask me.

same here..... my dad keeps teaching me ' the right way to type ' well, stupid head there is no right or wrong way LOL if he has ANY porblams, he should take a look at these posts rotfl

I don't put my hands on asdf jkl; either. I was getting in trouble at school for not typing the way that you're supposed to do it. We had to have paper over our hands! :sad2:

I'm not like the fastest typer ever on the face of the earth, but VMK helped me get up to around say, 35-40 WPM. My Dad thinks it was Mavis Beacon. HAH!!!! I sort of type the right way, but dont put my fingers on asdf jkl; like you are supposed to. I mean, if it works, do it, right?? At my school, next year i think we have to type 30 WPM, so I'm already done basically. Lol maybe it was 35, maybe 25. But I've got it. No sweat here. :teeth:

Yeah, it has increased my typing speed by a lot. My keyboarding teacher asked me if I did an IM thing cause I typed faster than everybody else... Woo!!

It helped me quite a bit, and I can also dictionary dance faster too!

In the summer after fourth grade, my typing words per minute was around 30.
Now, in the summer after fifth grade (after a year of vmk) I can type around 65-70 words per minute. My mom and dad can only type around 60! WOOT!

Heh, I'm a great typer for my age.. except for all my typo's :teeth:
