However, mine isn't that different from your's.....in fact the only difference is that I wasn't going to do the Thrill Ride Tour. Looks like I better be ready for ToT though! :eek: ;)

Oh boy! Sandra, you must be getting soooo excited. You will be leaving one month from now. I love your tour of the resorts day. I always do that too. Last year, I toured WL, the Poly, GF and ended up with a massage at the Spa. Life can be sweet!

FYI, they have a "mini-spa" at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, where you can get a massage, facials, body wraps, etc. That was on my list for last time (a gentleman's facial) but somehow I never got around to it.

I remember the first time I rode the Tower of Terror. I was soooooo nervous. But after the first time, you couldn't get me out of line.... ;)

I LOVE BTMRR. :) :) :) But it took me a long time to build up my nerve for that one too!

I doubt I could forgo the Opening Reception, but I'm having a hard time fitting in MK's parades and Fireworks. :rolleyes:

Last year the MVMCP fireworks were much better than the Fantasy in the Sky and the Christmas parade (MVMCP) was great!!! So, make sure you see those!!!!

You can fit that Share a Dream Parade on your thursday schedule! About fireworks: you are going to MVMCP on the 2nd. For all I read about it, they say that they have the most exquisite firework display during the party, a kind of expanded Fantasy in the Sky. So you will certainly be seeing Tinkebell fly!

Yep, the MVMCP fireworks are wonderful. 360 degrees all around the park. 'Cept Tinkerbell doesn't fly. Rudolph does. :D

Too bad Spectromagic is only on the 28th and 1st during DIS-Con...both days when we have convention activities. I'm glad I saw it when I was there in July.

I have an itinerary of sorts that I printed for my DH's benefit. I'll be at MGM on 11/26, AK/Epcot on 11/27, and the MK with my family on the 28th until the afternoon parade has ended. I'll register for DIS-Con in the late afternoon, attend the reception, possibly the Illuminations meet, and Jellyrolls.

My DH, kids and FIL will probably go to IOA on the 29th while I go to the character breakfast, visit the parks, and attend the Fantasmic dessert party. If I'm not exhausted, I may go to the Adventurer's Club meet - but that might have to wait until a solo trip.

The 30th will be spent with my family again - including dinner and the Candlelight Processional program Friday night. I may try to catch up with the DATW folks at the very end of the evening - and I'd like to attend the Karaoke, too.

I'm not sure what I'll do on Saturday morning and afternoon, but will have dinner somewhere at Epcot and view Illuminations with everyone.

My family will leave on Dec. 2nd, and I'll have one solo day before returning home. I'm REALLY looking forward to dinner at LTT that night, followed by MVMCP.

We are eating at Epcot at 5 pm at Rose and Crown on the 1st. Then we are doing the 6:45 CP. You could do it then instead of on the 28th and still make your dessert party. That way you could sneak me in!!!!:D I am really jealous! You guys are going to have a GREAT time! Maybe I can ditch my family like someone else I know! Just Kidding, Just Kidding...not intending to start a debate here.;)

Maybe I will get to meet you at the Fantasyland mini-meet. We are dining with her Royal Highness at 7:35 am, so maybe I will take an extended bathroom break, and run down the castle stairs to say Hi!!

Well, the closer things get, the more things will change a bit. I've cancelled my Wilderness Lodge reservation for the 27th and booked the Grosvenor. $171.00 for one night versus $43.29 for one night. WHAT?? disneycub budgeting?? Get out the smelling salts!! :rolleyes:

Other small changes are noted in red on my original itinerary. I forgot about the parades. Doesn't look like I'll be able to see Spectromagic this time around either. :(

There's a small glimmer of hope :rolleyes: that I just might do ToT.......DH was telling me that he thought I should try RnR first, then ToT, THEN Splash Mountain! :earseek: This is news to me........He feels Splash Mtn. is the worse of all 3!!! :earseek:

Oh and BTW, RnR is completely out for me........my friend Judy told me that she felt like her heart could have stopped beating at any moment during take off! :eek: No thank you! :eek:

Steve, if you and Barb need anymore abeled bodied persons to help purseude Tia to do the TOT, I'm game. (now if I can just figure out how to get my girls to join in :) ) I'm afraid of heights!! Big time. I almost hyperventilate, but I'm riding the TOT by gosh!!!!

Now...for my updated (very flexibile) itinerary. I was waiting until things were firmed up a little more before really digging in. I admit I didn't want to rewrite it many times over, but it is still subject to change! Well, here goes!


Thanksgiving evening - Nov. 22nd

Around 5:00 or 6:00 check in at Wyndham Hotel near airport. Too much road constuction and detours to make the trip in time to get plane in the morning. So much easier this way, only about 10 minutes from the airport, instead of an hour or more!

Friday, Nov. 23rd

7:45 a.m. Leave Pittsburgh - arrive Orlando 10:04 a.m., Pick up car and check into Grosvenors.
Sometime in the afternoon go to BW to meet with our DVC guide (may buy an add-on at VWL)
Go to TTC to pick up AP
8:45 p.m. PS at Califormia Grill (great view of Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks at 9:00)

Saturday, Nov. 24th

Check out of Grosvenors and check in at BWV
MK Day (I think, depends how busy it is, but definitely in the evening)

Since the airline cancelled my return flight I have to stay 3 days longer:D (this will be my longest Disney vacation!!). My AP is valid thru Dec. 2, so I think I will buy a 2 (Dec. 3rd and Dec. 5th) and go to Seaworld on Dec. 4th instead of Nov. 21st.

On Dec. 6th I have to be at the airport around 14:00 for my flight back to Amsterdam!

Tia, dear, the launch on RnR is THE BEST part of the ride. The suspense (count down) and the total rush when it lets go is fantastic! The rest of the ride is over is seconds.
I will go over my scribbled itinerary and see if I can post it later tonight. I'm sure it will follow the path of most you, as we planned just about everything together! :)

Too much going on!!!! :)

I am not a commando, just ask anyone who has been to any of the parks with me. I have to take rest breaks or I crash. And I am on a budget, so expensive meal-meets are out -- good thing I have kitchen in the condo. Somebody has to relax and take it easy - might as well be me! :)

I admit it, I am a wimp. Just have to go with the flow and take it easy, not overschedule myself. Somehow, I think there might be others who also need a break from time to time. :) :) :)
