Right now i'm planning on a solo trip at OKW in Nov, but I have a few concerns
1) would i be better off at BCVs? I'd rather be there but there is such a point different I dont know if it's worth spending family pts since it will just be me. :sad2:
2) i invited people to come, but i really want them to say no. does that make me evil? :stir:

1) I think that OKW was in a great location and a good idea for a solo trip. Olivia's was great and I had a drink called a turtle krawl(I think) at the bar next to Olivia's. It was a great drink.
2) You are not evil at all for wanting to be alone! I just took a three day trip with my best friend and left the hubby and kids behind. Not feeling one bit evil.

well my solo trips are generally in a studio....
so I also do OKW - hey why pay 12 points when you get by with 8 points....
BWV is also good if you can get the standard view for 9 points.

Remember that OKW studios have 2 beds, and BCV studios have 1 bed and the couch. I much prefer to sit on the couch than on the bed to watch TV. And I love the nearness to Epcot, the park I spend most of my solo time in. BCV is my solo resort. When DH and I go together, we stay at OKW, but when I'm solo, it's BCV.

I'm also planning my first solo trip, and I chose OKW.
I love the Epcot resort area, but I couldn't justify the point difference since I could use the points later to enjoy a 1 bedroom with DH.
The only thing I am really going to miss is the couch, because I also hate sitting on the bed.
But hey... OKW has such great patios, I might not me watching much TV!

I just returned from OKW with family and I'm going to be seeing what I can do to move to one of the Epcot resorts. OKW is too spread out for a solo trip I feel. I also decided I would like to be in the Epcot resort area for ease to parks and food. At OKW there is only goods to go and olivia's, neither of which I was thrilled with.
