HHI at 7 months in April....impossible?

Hi,

Can anyone look into their crystal ball and tell me how difficult it will be to get HHI at 7 months (1 BR preferred), this would be week before or after Easter. Still waiting on the school calendar so dates aren't solid yet but definitely around the Easter holiday.

We got a 2BR in August at the 7 month window. I think HH isn't as popular in April as the resorts in Orlando are.

Actually the Hilton Head resort is usually pretty much booked during the month of April. HH is a very popular Spring Break destination and the weeks before and after Easter are usually the quickest to fill up.

Impossible? No, but if you want a 1BR, your chances are probably not that good. There are only 21 1BRs at the resort.

Good luck, but if you are willing to go for a 2BR, you'll probably have a greater chance.

And I wonder if the PGA tournament brings anyone to stay there? Just don't change your plans to November-we'll be calling tomorrow for a 1 BR then.

For II, April is actually more in demand than the last 3 weeks of August.

I'm actually not surprised that April is far more popular than August. March, April and May are prime golf season times. I could probably manage a 2BR. We will only be staying mid-week so points aren't too awful for 4 days...from there we want to drive down to Charleston and spend the weekend in the city. A 2 br wouldn't be bad for the four of us anyway :).

My other option is to try to trade ressies with another member for our BWV points....those BWV std views are hard to come by. I'll have to weigh my options...quickly...as the 11 month window is fast approaching. Can anyone advise about trading? This is new to me!
