How to get the boat to HDD Review??

My mother will be with us for the HDDR and would do better catching the boat since it is closer than driving, bus, etc.
Any ideas where the boats leave from?

Do you mean the boat from Fort Wilderness that goes to the MK? The boat launch was just a short walk from the Hoopdedo, you go out of the hall and kinda of make a left and walk down to the pier. This is okay as long as the MK is open when your show is done. We went to the early show one year in the summer and then went back to mk. But if the mk closes early you may not have that option.

It would be helpful to know where you are staying and when you will be there. At this time of year you can get to the early HDD show by boat from MK, Wilderness Lodge and the Contemporary resort. Getting back is another matter since the boats stop running about an hour after MK closes. This leaves the buses as your only choice, unless you call a taxi.

but were thinking about going straight from
MK that afternoon for the 5:00 show.
It is for Oct. 24- a Wed.
I didn't figure there was anything directly from
our ghotel, but thought maybe there
was from MK. I didn't think about the trip back though.

MK is open until 7:00 on the 24th, so you should be okay. Take the boat from MK to Fort Wilderness for the Hoop De Doo. The dinner show is in Pioneer Hall, just a short walk from the boat dock. Then after the show take the boat back to MK and catch a bus back to CBR. Have fun!
