So how many people out there make advanced reservations at Universal restaurants?
At Disney we've had ADRs for all TS meals in the past, so I'm having a hard time accepting that I don't need them at Universal.
We'll be there from 6/3-6/9, do you guys think I should make some reservations?
I appreciate the advice! :teeth:

The only restaurants I have ever had to make advanced reservations for are Emerils and Tchop Chop as they are very very popular with local residents.

Hi, could anybody tell me the number to call to make reservations at Tchoup Chop and Mama Della's? Also how far in advance do you suggest calling?

I would also like to make reservations at the Nascar Cafe if possible. It's my Boyfriends birthday whilst we are staying at the PBH and he is Nascar mad so I would like to make sure I have a table reserved and also see if they can provide a birthday cake or do something special for him.

Thanks

To make reservations at Tchoup Chop, you can go to this link and make them online. http://www.emerils.com/restaurants/orlando_tchoupchop/ You can also link to Emeril's Restaurant from there and make reservations, too. The alternative to this is to go to http://www.opentable.com/start.aspx?rn=85579&m=28 to make the reservations, but half the fun is reading up about Emeril's restaurants and menus on the first site noted.

If I remember correctly, you can make reservations at The Palm at its website.

I would make reservations early. We tried to get into Emeril's in March on a Sunday night and the first available seating was at 10:00. That doesn't work with kids and a DH that likes to go to bed early. They could have accommodated us in the bar at 9:00, but not with the kids. We were able to get into The Palm that night easily. We walked into Mamma Della's on Saturday night without reservations, but we went early, so we could get to Mardi Gras in time, so I don't know how that would have been later that night.

NASCAR Cafe was a walk-in when we were down President's week, no wait even.
