I'm still alive, OMG what's with Tomorrowland, and I have questions! :)

Hi everyone, yes I am still alive, if anyone has noticed I've been gone. I went to Miami with my bestest buds (my boyfriend, my sister, and her fiance) around the beginning of April and have not been on vmk/dis since then. There are several reasons: I quit my job and have been looking for a new one, I discovered a Super NES emulator that actually works and got a game controller, so I've been playing all my old favorite games (Chrono Trigger is very addicting and I want to play it all the time), and other things.

I will be back on vmk soon. I actually just tried and saw the new tomorrowland, and 10 seconds after I got in, they said it was closing for a while. My luck.

My questions: can anyone tell me what new stuff has come out that I missed? Like hero suits (I only have green and the purple shirt), Narnia teleporters (I saw a post about them but don't know what they are), ANYTHING! I could read thru all the threads but that would take forever. If anyone can catch me up on new stuff, and maybe even trade me anything I missed if you have extra, that would be awesome! :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: I always miss new stuff when I'm away and I hate it :(

there are now quest kiosk that you can buy for 20,000 credits to create your own quest the way you want it. To get the new TL magic pins you need to particiapate in the quests. Its posted on dis so dont worry. No other costumes have come out.

My brother Disniplaya bought a quest kiosk and it looks really cool, he is building one for MGM

Tomorrowland... well I let someone else explain the quests... they are fun! But you need to play all the mini games to get the cars, divers, space suit!

Ok, here are the items that have been released (or re-released)

Tomorrowland 1 of 5 (This is the Tomorrowland Transportation Set; i.e. Rocket, People Mover)
Tomorrowland 2 of 5
Tomorrowland 3 of 5
Narnia Teleporter
Narnia Ice Chair (or Throne)
Narnia Street Lamp
Aslan Wardrobe Pin
Narnia Shield Poster
Narnia Map with Snow

All of the Narnia stuff can be won by going to Narnia.com, clicking on DVD and playing the Narnia Adventure. I can edit this post to give further help if needed.

Next: You probably saw all of the new Tomorrowland Rooms.
You can now do quests on VMK to earn special Magic Pins that allow you into certain areas.

1st Quest
Found: Captains Quest Quarters
Prize: Deep Sea Diving Magic Blue

2nd-5th Quests
Found: Autopia Quest Track
Prize: 1. Autopia Car Magic Blue
2. Autopia Car Magic Pink
3. Autopia Car Magic Yellow
4. Autopia Car Magic Green
NOTE: You only have to finish one car quest in order to get to the final quest.

You will have to drive on the Autopia Quest Track a little to get your Autopia Driver's Licence (Yes, they spelled it wrong!)

Final Quest
Space Mountain Quest
Prize: 1. Inner-Space Suit Magic Blue

Finally, you have to go through the Inner Space Shrinking Room, then the Inner Space Ray Room (Shrunken size!!) and into the Inner Space Shop.

Supposedly, the shop's teleporter is going to be a link-up to the second section of Tomorrowland, based off of the movie Tron!

So weird because just the other day I was saying "where is Miakoda? i have not seen her in ages!" Glad to see you back ad hope you had a nice trip!

The narnia teleporters are huge wardrobe looking things that they are giving out on the Narnia website. You can follow the link on vmk to play. They are only givien out once every 5000 times the game is played so it is very very random. People are spending hours and hours and days and days playing with no luck. You can get the other Narnia stuff (street light posts, ice chairs, pins and posters) from playing the game which is like a choose your own adventure type thing. They have re-released the tomorrowland retro pins. This weekend was 3/5 I think it was. Like the other poster said, all the other magic etc are quests you can do and all the spoilers are here on DIS if you run into any problems.Oh and all the credits that were boosted for Everest Month went back down to normal which stinks! Thats about it. You have not missed much!

there hasn't been any new stuff accept for the quest maker. They are selling the tomorrowland pins every weekend in the emporium. they didn't release the two other color hero suits. there is new magic now, but you can obtain them by playing a quest. these magics get you into different areas in vmk, There is a space magic, that takes you in the shrinking machine, there is car magic that take you on the track, and there is divers magic that you can go under the sea. there are threads about each quest on vmk boards if you need help or ask anyone. the magic is is also untradeable

ok narina teleports come from the narina game which is posted in the guide. You have to play it over and over, to win it, the game also gives you other narina stuff.

you really didn't miss out on any new stuff, except if you missed one of the tomorrowland pins. so don't worry.

Everynight the host have quest usually for old prizes like the holiday and others. some one even said inferno was a prize.

Oops forgot to add that WDW has released their Thrill Seekers Quest whihc has the Animal Safari room, directors chair and a few other things i think, and Disneyland has released their 50th Quest with new quest stuff as well. Have not seen much of it around yet. Also Stich hats are popping up more and more as people book their trips to DLR.

There you are! I was wondering what happened to you. :)

As stated above, there are lots of new things to see and do. Not too much for us to buy. Just have to spend a lot of credits just to get the quest maker. And a note about that. Once you buy it, it can't be traded or sold. So once you have, you're stuck with it. :)

Thanks everyone! Wow that's a lot of info. Funny story...I finally decide to get back on VMK, it crashes, and then my internet went down forever! And CABLE! (our fault for not paying...oops) I read a lot hehe. So now I'm back like slim shady and I'm gonna try to play the Narnia game and quests but I'll be like a new kid in vmk the first time "whats this? what's that? someone help!"

I don't understand what a quest kiosk (the 20,000) thing is for. Maybe someone can elaborate, or send a pic or something. Or maybe I'll find one in a room, I dunno. I'm sure by the time I save up it will be gone or I'll at least know what it is! LOL.

Just before your previous post a few of us were chatting and someone wondered where you had disappeared to.

Glad to see you are alive and well and back in the game.

Oh- and the quest generator- is 20K credit device you can purchase to make your own quests- if you want to see one just search for quest in the game and you will see quite a few... some harder than others

I do not like to double post, but I will elaborate even further than Virtuallyme.

Look, here is how the quest generator works.

You set up challenges (Change Clothes.. Go to a Room.. Visit an NPC.. Emote.. Find a Jewel, Gold Mickey, Horseshoe, Clover, Skull or Atom.. and many more.

You can set up to 40 challenges on each quest.

Then you put in prizes for your quest..
They come out of your Inventory and into the other person.. unlike usual prize-giving. You can have credits, clothes, pins, posters, and furnishings as prizes.

Finally, you have to set a title for your quest based on what it is about, and what you will have to do. The quest description is where you will put the basic overview of the quest and whether you will need to spend or get credits, what magic pins you may need and what items you should have in your inventory or obtainable.

(The last sentence was to warn you not to do the following.. Set up an Inferno Quest and not tell everyone that they will need a Blue Holiday Wreath in 2:00)

I would only set time limits on the things that are very easy to do.

Next, there is how you set up your quest..
No Time Limit (First come, first serve.. First ones to finish the quest get the better prizes.)
Time Limit (The quest can be played up until a set time limit after opening and the prizes are given out based on time after time ends.

No Time Limit is better to avoid muling.

You will need to test your quest. If you set a ridiculous fireworks score, you will never be able to open your quest if you can't do it.

Once you have your quest tested, you have to choices, Open it Now or tinker with it more.

If you choose to open it later and make changes, you will have to re-test your quest.

That is pretty much the guide to setting up your quest.

Hey guys! Whew I have been ultra busy planning my wedding, and I finally got back on DIS and vmk last night! So much new stuff! I finished the quests where i got the car, space, and diver magic, yay!

virtuallyme, which tommorrowland pins are you talking about? If they are new ones, I would like them if you still have 'em! I know I missed out on the pirates pins too :( If anyone has extras, I will trade for them!

I sent in a suggestion to vmk months ago to organize our inventories...I'm sure I was not the only one to suggest it, but thank goodness they finally did that! So much easier to trade now and figure out how much of everything you have!

You all should see a lot more of me now, in between wedding plans and house hunting, I will be on vmk/dis! I want a pirate suit more than anything so if anyone has extra I have a lot to trade! :)

Also, my wonderful fiance CoughCoolGhoul is quitting vmk..he has found other games that are more suited to his interests. I'm ok with that, b/c I get all his stuff! LOL.

I played the pirates game. I was irked b/c I played 4 times in a row, and wrote down the codes...then I quit and entered the codes and got the four things besides the outfit. I can't help but wonder if I had played five times, would I have gotten it? LOL. OH well.

About the dictionary...I was wondering why I was being called "me a"! That works just as well :)
