canceling 1 of 2 rooms at RPR

Hi again!
I have a question.
I may get a bigger and better place for my stay during Memorial weekend, and tomorrow I will know for sure the comfirmation e-mail.

But I have reserved 2 rooms at RPR.
So if I get this bigger place, can I call RPR and cancel one of my 2 rooms?

I just want to keep one room. Is this possible? Both rooms are under the same name and same reservation #.Or do they (RPR) tell you you have to cancel both rooms?

How many days or months do I have to cancel just one room without any penalty or fees?

You have until 5 days prior to cancel. I would definitely call and make sure you get an email confirmation and print it out and take it with you.

Yes, you should be able to, but I wouldnt try to do it online, to risky. Do it on the phone. Did you book thru the universal website originally?

Yes, I used the universal website to book these.

Was hoping you would say Loews instead....I would call the hotel itself directly first..they will probably transfer you to reservations, just make sure you get that confirmation for the room you want to keep.
