We want to purchase an ultra compact for our trips to Disney so we can just slip the camera in our pocket or wear it on our belt. We want the most megapixels and optical in the smallest camera and I know that is asking alot. We have looked around some, but I thought I would ask here and see what you guys recommend. Thanks! :)

Nothing, really. Lots of optical zoom require lots of lenses and making it not pocketable. Lots of MP on a small sensor means absolutely nothing but only increasing noise and colour inaccuracies.
For me, Fuji F10 is the only compromise between MP, zoom and high ISO performance.

I would not get caught up in the megal pixel race - you just don't need a really high mega pixel camera unless you're blowing up huge pics. My 3.2 mega pixel camera made some nice 5X7s and 8x10s. I made the huge mistake of getting caught up with mega pixels and got the N1 from Sony - it was a 8 mega pixel camera. I took it out one night and was extremely disappointed!! LOTS of noise in the pictures. I took it back. Go for a Canon - I'm biased now. :) Stick to a 5 or 6 mega pixel. I've seen some great pictures taken with a Canon Elph. Good luck!!

I have a Canon S70 that fits nicely in any pocket. I don't know if this is small enought for you, but I like the camera. It has a nice wide 28mm lens and has worked flawlessly. I agree that one can get caught up in the megapixel race and this camera's 7 MPixel size is overkill. Read about all digital cameras at http://www.steves-digicams.com/.
