Tesco Suntan lotion offer

Hi

I've just been into Tesco and found Nivea sun lotion is buy one get one free and its only £8:95. Works out at £4:47 each. I've got mine now ready for my summer hols. I always use Nivea anyway so it was a good deal for me. I always like a bargain. :goodvibes

I bought Asda's own factor 15 to take away with us because it was a great price and cheaper than other branded names.
We all got sunburnt but it was a great price...... :rolleyes1
Had to dash to Walgreens and buy some 'AD' (?) brand factor 15 which was great :thumbsup2

For the past couple of holidays we have used Tesco's own brand of sun tan lotion. It comes in a pump dispenser and costs approx 50p a gallon.
I think I may have over exaggerated there, but it is very cheap.

The reason we started to use it is that we read a test of all the top brand sun tan lotions in a paper and Tesco's own brand came out top for protection.
It beat all the brands that seem to cost more than perfume. ;)

I agree some of the brands are really marked up and probably are the exact same thing inside!

Also the Ambre Solaire is also Buy one Get one free in tescos at the moment!

It is tempting with all these offers, and must admit until last year we always took our own.
However, after buying Australian Gold from Publix I must admit it's the best we have ever used, smells great and doesn't ruin your clothing.
