I need a recipe for frosting for an ice cream cake. Our local Baskin Robbins closed so I'll have to make a knock off. I just love those Baskin Robbins ice cream cakes and am going in withdrawl symptoms for one.

Thanks in advance. Happy Easter or Passover or whatever you celebrate!

Oh by the way, I tried the search function but all I could find was regular frosting for regular cakes.

Well, You could make a fondon icing. Fondon is a mixture of glucose and sugar, it is almost like a "Play-Dough" substance. You could maybe cover the cake with Fondon, for a firm covering, and then make some cool icing designs! :thumbsup2
