Why DISboards is Great!!!

Recently, I posted a question here on DISboards (camping) and got several answers/responses. My husband posted the same question on another Disney (camping) discussion board and did not get one answer. Just want to say that I think DISboards and its members are great. :thumbsup2 Thanks one and all.

I think the level of civility is much higher here as well. Other than a few sarcastic comments occasionally :wave2: things are pretty polite.
You dont see that on a lot of other forums.
Is it the moderators ? or are campers just naturally polite folks ?

I have gotten all my questions answered here too! Great place!

It is like a little family here.

Everyone here seems to be friendly not just the campers but we are naturally friendly!

I have found that the info is up to date. Just look at all the post from "Just Back" other site you here people say I was there 6 months or a year ago. But here you get info that day by people staying at the Fort or a week old by people who just left. Keep up the good work. :woohoo:

I used to go to a site that was originally free and the people seemed nice, but it became a pay site and the friendliness went out the window. This site is fabulous, the people are knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and so willing to share what they know with others. I recommend this site to all my friends planning a trip to Disney. :cheer2:

I have to agree with this also. with a possible exception of a newbie, i've found this particular DIS board to be most helpful, as i am a newbie to the camping at wdw/ft. wilderness and i am finding out there is alot to learn but the people here are so helpful and informative! :thumbsup2

I also find that the friendliness does not stop here on the disboards, it also extends to people that you meet here and meet in person at FW. It is a great place, no doubt!
