Where are you staying in the world?

Here we are, 48 days to go...

I thought about starting a list of who is staying where. (does it make sense?). I myself have changed resorts twice (AsMo and AsMu) before deciding to settle down at the Dolphin. Come on commandos and lurkers, where have you decided to stay during DisCon?

Here we start our list. I have just done some research in old threads. So if I got you in the wrong resort, please shout.

One more thing:To make it simpler, I am considering here where you are staying DURING DisCon proper.

Ray Sharpton is at The Swan, I believe.

Our 'Secret Guests' (mother/daughter) will be at ASMo, I think.

Linda and I are staying at Boardwalk Villas from Nov. 27-30, since we are DVC members.
Then we are moving to Animal Kingdom Lodge and staying until Dec. 4rd.
Can't wait!

UPDATE: Our wait-list came through for a studio at the Boardwalk Villas! So I have changed our first location and the dates above.

Now I know there were more than a couple of folks that were scheduled for the AS. Maybe everyone got such great rates at the other resorts that they moved their ressies.

I considered it, but decided that if I save $$ on our room, (and I know the kids like the AS) it would give us a few extra bucks to spend elsewhere, like maybe have a spa day for us girls :)
I had really wantd to do the American Youth Program ( jumping up and down pouting cause we didn't have enough kids interested :( ) but since that is off, I'm glad we stuck w/ AS so I can have a spa treatment. :)

Guess since there are so few of us at the AS, I won't have to fight for a cab :)

Yacht Club for the convention and Grand Floridian after the convention to celebrate early our 25th wedding anniversary. Anniv. is May 2002...so this trip counts...

Gerri: I am pretty sure that there are lots of folks out there staying at AsMo too. They will eventually show up. Treat yourself with a spa day: you deserve that, girl!

NancyIl: The last version of the list, updated and corrected, sends glo to a "Secret Hideaway" till she comes forward and say where she is staying. You are free to imagine where glo's secret hideway is (Mayan pyramide? Haunted Mansion? Tower of Terror? Conservation Station?).

Nice choice Patrick. I stayed there last March/April and it was wonderful. Much quieter than the main WL. And lowellsdad, you're going to love the AKL!

Oh, and Livia, I'll be at the Wilderness Lodge for the first night I'm there. Gotta get my "rustic" in before going to the Yacht & Beach. :rolleyes:

First of all.. if someone does not want to divulge where they are staying, I think that is their right.. :) Notice I am not saying where I am staying.. :D But you know that private apartment at the top of the castle that we all talk about, I have invited special guests to stay with me there..;) ;) ;) ;)

There are rooms available at the Hollywood Tower Hotel. The only problem is that if you want to take the elevator, you have to go up and down several times before reaching your floor. :)
