MK- Newbie LAND Swap ~ Full.. List on #4..note on #55!

Everyone is invited to participate in the LAND Swap!!

Due date is July 20th (that is when I need to receive your package. I will wait one week to return them just in case someone‘s doesn‘t arrive on schedule).

1. Choose a theme (Tomorrowland, Main Street, USA, Adventureland, Frontierland, Liberty Square, Fantasyland, Mickey‘s Toontown Fair and of course basic Magic Kingdom).
2. Select an element. Make 12 of each element!
3. PM me with your DIS name, name and address - so I can pre-address the return envelopes.
4. Post your progress status on the Progress thread - which will be posted after the slots are filled.
5. Check the progress thread for your status - it will be updated with ship info and received info.
6. Packing Instructions - use a Ziploc for each person and put everything for that person into their bag. Please label each bag with your name so we know who made each element. You‘ll have 12 bags to enclose in the larger (gallon size) Ziploc bag. - be sure to include your name, your DIS name. On the larger Ziploc bag please put your mailing address on your bag and include return postage.
7. Mailing Instructions - Please use the Flat Rate Envelopes ($4.05) or the Flat Rate Box ($8.10) to mail your packages of goodies to me! Include $4.05 for envelope postage (or stamps if you don't want to send cash) to return your items or $8.10 for the box postage. On the outside of your box/envelope please include your DIS name and Swap name in the bottom corner!
8. PM me if you have problems and need to drop out or if an emergency happens (we all know things happen beyond our control sometimes), let me know so we can make arrangements for an angel or other help if needed.
9. There will be 12 people per group - once a group fills up I will add another group - but there will not be more than 5 groups.
10. Most importantly HAVE FUN!!

2 journaling boxes - (double matted and embellished) 2 per person; At least a 2x2 writing area

2 Tags - (double matted) 2 per person; Must include either fibers or eyelets in the holes

1 Box n Tag - (1 of each- Above rules apply)

1 library pocket and tag
1 Shaker Box - (1 per person)
1 Paper Piecing - (1 per person)
1 Matted Poem or song Lyric - (double matted and embellished); At least 4x4 space (no handwriting please)

You don't have to pick a land if you aren't sure of one... You can go with generic Disney items. You get to chose what elements you want to give.
If you choose Frontierland you could chose items that are related to western items and colors..

In my opinion.. embellished is as embellished as you would like to make it...
There is a sticky thread up on top of these swap posts... it lists past swaps and down near the bottom is one from past swaps that will give you a great idea of what others have done in the past..

WE did our cleaning last weekend..but we'll hopefully do some yard work this weekend!!

I'm just checking in! :cool1: I haven't accomplished much yet, but I'm hoping this weekend will give me a little time. DH is helping his dad on Saturday, and I have a free day. I figure I'll do a little much-needed house-cleaning, and the I can work on swaps! :thumbsup2

I did the yard work already excepting getting the grass cut. I really need to hire a new lawn guy, had to fire the last one. But it's going to rain for the next 8 days. I guess I'll be forced to clean the house, the good thing is when I find the dining table I can wrap up my swap stuff.

I'm glad to know that someone else's dining table is full of stuff! I think DH and I just use it as a place to dump stuff when we walk in the door and into the kitchen! I haven't accomplished much housecleaning today--I slept in, and then I have been just fiddling around the house. I have to do some stuff for work, so DH said to just concentrate on that, and he would help with the housecleaning when he got home. I'm thinking I will take him up on that offer! :banana:
