Pop! But when I lived in Virginia I called it soda.

It depends on what it is. If it really is Coca Cola, I'll say coke, b/c Coca Cola and Pepsi are brand names, and taste different (or so I've heard :rolleyes: ) The other English teacher last year said pop, and I've heard other people call it soda pop, but I say soda. I don't like soda, so I don't say it that much!! :D

I guess it's kind of a north-east thing, like dog is kind of like dawg, and coffee is more like cawfee, and talk and walk are like tawlk and waalk. that didn't look right! :)

Here it is Coke. It doesnt matter if it is Pepsi or anything else. Everything is Coke! If anyone says Pop or Soda they get a few wierd looks! :)

It's soda up here! Or Coke/Pepsi, that kinda stuff! Lotsa ppl like Mountain Dew at my school....it must be the caffeine!!!!

We normally call it soda, but I sometimes call it coke.

I hear soft-drinks a lot down here, too. Maybe it's just us lovely North Carolinians...

Depends on what it is. If its coke or pepsi i just usually say coke out of habit.. but anything else like orange or mountain dew i usually say soda

Down here in Tx we call in Coke..whether its coke or pepsi lol
