i and my husband are travelling in july for 4 days to orlando. we wanted to get a nice hotel offsite as we are not interested in staying onsite,
which is a good hotel which is not very expensive !!
Thanks in advance,

definitely what you call expensive...

cypress pointe is very close to WDW - and not to far to US - going I4 - but someone told me that the back way was even faster.
kept in mind that WDW and US are around 15 to 45 minutes apart depending upon traffic
my budget is under 80 dollars.

saab: "close to" is a relative term. If you want to be near both properties, then I assume you'd want to be in between, which would put you somewhere on the I-4 route between the Downtown Disney exit and SeaWorld. I'd suggest loggin on to Expedia.com, which is showing some rates within your price range for some decent properties -- Clarion Hotel Universal, the Wyndham Orlando Resort, and the HoJo Plaza Hotel and Suites. Truth be told, however, if you can factor in an extra $20 a day, you could even stay on property at one of the Disney value resorts.
Good luck, and have a great vacation.
i wanted to know of people's experience of their stay so that would give me a heads up to book the best value hotel ...

on disney property - Pop Century.
off - I like the LaQuinta... but County Inn is having a sale which fits with your budget.
there is also hilton grand vacation club - which is across the street from SW but is hardly a value resort. You can get it for your price if you agreed to do a sales pitch....
also you can get a referral from this site
