With all the threads talking about the preffered way of getting to WDW,I thought it was time for another poll.

Given our proximity to the border and the difference in fees and taxes, flying from a US location is by far the best route for us.

I had to vote for the fly from closest US airport, which we will be doing again next year. Just wanted to say its a sad commentary on Canadian Air Travel when I save almost $2000 by flying from the US. :sad2:

Last year we took 3 trips. Drove once and flew twice. All depends on the nature and duration of the trip. In May we camped at Ft Wilderness and took 3 days to drive including a stay with relatives in Atlanta.

For Oct we also stayed a week but flew and flew in Dec for a 3 night stay. For a longer trip I actually don't mind the drive. We take lots of breaks to shop and have dinner it's part of the vacation. Dh and I share the driving.

For flying it's always Buffalo. We're in Burlington so it's super close and my IL's live in Pt Colborne. Last 2 trips we stayed at their house for our early morning flight.

Well we chose one overnight stp as there was no option for more than one choice or it would have been both non stop and overnight stop as we do both. We generally stop on the way down then straight through on the way home.
