Rice krispie treat bars ,Mickey ice-cream bars and frozen banana bars(in AK) !!!With breakfast I always got either a Diet Coke or Water to go and brought it into the parks ,so we saved our snack points on drinks that way! We always could refill our bottled water in the parks.

We didn't use any for waters. We brought insulated water bottles with neck straps and filled them at the resorts.
Many people have posted about not being able to use all their snack credits in the park because they were too full from the meals, so they ended up having to buy Mickey Crispy treats at the resorts to take home with them.
Although I never made any posts about it, I questioned how people could possibly have leftover credits. Well it happened to me. We used some in the parks for ice creams and ice pops, but the meals just filled us up too much to really want a lot of snacks.
I found a few decent snack deals at the resort. I stayed at ASSp and I was allowed to get chocolate-covered or chocolate-chip croissants. They also let you get ANY bottled drink with a snack credit (other than 2 liter bottles). You can get huge bottled Powerades, OJs, Nesquiks, etc.

Just a note that you can usually only get the official snack items at the parks - it's the resorts that are more lenient.

Water, the chocolate chip cooking ice cream things, the rainbow popcycles. And stuff from the food and wine booths.
We brought an ice chest full of bottled water last time. IT simply wasn't enough. we had to supplement with some from the parks.

We used ALL our snack credits on bottled water in the parks. Even had to pay OOP for some of our bottled water since we ran out of snack credits...
If you are there during food and wine, many of the food choices are now allowed at the booths as a snack credit....looks at the menu and you'll see the symbol DDP next to an item and you can use the snack credits there. It was a big hit last year.

Meg&Minnie, you mentioned getting the frozen banana in AK. Is it only available there now? I love them and the only parks the last time I went were Epcot and MK! Gotta make sure I get'm when I can!
Anyone else who might know? Thanks!

We plan to use our snack credits for bottled water (I heard Florida water tastes/smells...we don't do smelly water! :lmao: ). We will also use it for icecream and frozen bananas! If we have any leftover, we will use them up on goodies for our post Disney World road trip!

I'm not sure if the other parks have the Frozen Bananas or not...we just got ours at AK. They have the little ice-cream carts all over all of the parks ,so you can easily find out when you get there. Also, we had extra snack credits too...at the end of our trip and we bought 4 Mickey Rice Krispie treats home with us ...we picked them up at our resort (POP) and put them in our carry on bags. Have a great trip ! :thumbsup2

For those that think the water tastes funny.. we bring along those little packets from Crystal light that you can add to a bottle of water to make iced tea, lemonade, etc....

We ODed on icecream snacks and quickly started to search out the frozen bananas last year. This year you can also get fresh fruit - yeah! Anyhow, the banana search yielded the frozen chocolate covered bananas available at all parks but at very few carts total. Our strategy was to watch all day which carts had which snacks so that when we were ready, we knew where to go for what we wanted. Basically, each cart does not carry the same combination of frozen treats. Variety comes at the cost of confusion.
About the water, we've always refilled bottles from 3 gal spring water jugs be bought and stored in the room. This year, we'll be using hydration backpacks so that we can have enough without the stroller basket and saddlebags full of our extensive water bottle collection.

We purchased bottled water from a grocery store near WDW or we could have blown all of our snack credits on water. I also read a thread in the past that somebody ordered a case of water from Staples or somewhere like that on-line and had it sent directly to their room. I might look into that this year. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
We used our snack credits mostly for ice creams. We did have some left over, but what fun it was to be eating those rice krispy Mickey's at home after the vacation had ended! :thumbsup2

I'm staying at POFQ this summer and heard that the beignets are great. I'm excited to see they can be used for snack credits!

If anyone has a car... we usually stop at the Super Walmart on 535. Stock up on Water, gatorade, granola bars, etc. Great place to get diapers, etc. so that you don't have to pack them too.

MK has frozen bananas. Some of the carts list them on the menu, but don't have a picture, so you have to go right up to the cart to find out if they have them.
What we did for water was we got large bottled waters with our first CS meal and then refilled the bottles each night and refrigerated them.

All "special" snack items provided at the resorts are YMMV. It really comes down to the luck of the draw with your cashier. Sometimes you can get good snacks at the resorts and sometimes they hold you to Mickey Crispy treats, ice-cream, chips, and drinks.

We have always loved the soft ice cream at Mrs. Potts Cupboard in the MK. Would we be able to get an ice cream there as our snack?

Near Lights, Motor, Action Stunt Show was a Snack Stand (trailer) that had steamed dumplings (veggie and pork) that was marked as Snack credit for DP. These were great and a welcome change from popcorn, etc. We also used them for a light lunch instead of CS...

I wondered the same thing before we went last year and we packed all kinds of extra food to make sure we didn't get too hungry. Well, needless to say, nost of that extra food came home with us along with 8 or 9 rice krispie Mickey's. We also left 3 CS on our cards. I was so shocked by the amount of food! I can't wait to go back again this Aug!!!!

Thought I was good at letters - what is YMMV? And how will it effect my ability to get beignets?

We really loved the Strawberry Frozen Fruit Bars
It was just like a "smoothie" on a stick :goodvibes
Tried the Ice-cream, chocolate covered Mickey Bar once and was shocked by how "good" they are (the label showing the calories/fat content) :scared1:
Why is it that food that tastes REALLY good is the worst for you?

We were there in December so there wasn't that need of constantly downing water like in the hotter temps, so the pop/water we had in the room and what came with meals kept up pretty much hydrated. We used our snack credits on a bottle of coke and popcorn (definitely need something to drink with popcorn! LOL) and a Mickey Premium bar. We had all of our snack credits left on our last night at the MK that we used them to buy chocolate chip cookies at Main Street Bake Shop to bring home - it's a tradition in our family to bring these home to share with those that didn't make this trip, we usually get a dozen to bring home so with the leftover snack credits we just had to pay for a few.

We got soda but mostly used them for the snacks at the Epcot Food and Booze festival. If you are going to be at WDW during that Festival I would strongly advise you get the meal plan.

We did not use any of ours at the parks or the resort, but before we left I used them all up to buy Mickey ice cream bars and packed them in my luggage for a tasty treat when I get home ...oh.....oh NO!

We used them for ice cream treats most of the time, love the HUGE ice cream cookie sandwiches! A couple of times we used them for drinks & popcorn before the parades. The leftover ones we would get the rice krispie mickeys to take home!
