Would like some Jungle Cruise advice

I am on question 17 of the Space Suit quest, and unfortunately it is one I am rubbish at; the jungle cruise. I have to get over 30,000 points in order to continue, but I am rubbish at it!

Any tips on how to win? I have no idea how!

When you take pictures, try to get "ok" rather than "flawless". For some reason you get more points that way. Don't take the picture right away; wait almost until the animal disappears. If you can't get "ok", "good" will probably be fine.

Try not to crash! lol. If you can keep from crashing and get all the gas cans you should make it.

I dont try and steer while taking a picture... I take a photo, tap to the left or the right on click take anohter picture tap left or right.. back in forth click tap click tap

You really dont have to move much

And you get more points for OK than Flawless.... that does not seem right...

As you enter a room, see where the barriers are and move at the start of the room into a position where you will not hit the first set. On the first rounds, this means you don't have to move much at all.

Keep up with the gas cans more than the film, if you have to choose.

Never speed up. In fact, after you have gotten to the far side of the room, push the down arrow key once, take a picture, then again, take a picture, etc until no more animals appear.

The animals always appear in the same place and in the same order, so even though it feels like you will be doing this forever, you will probably improve each time as you learn the system.

Do you have a sibling or another family member that is availble to help? lol I could not get passed that part either (as I have mentioned before in previous posts rofl!) and last night my sister so kindly offered to help me. She controlled the driving and I took the pictures lol. (we tried it the other way around and let's just say I should never be the captain of a boat rofl!) With her concentration on not crashing and mine on taking pictures of all the animals worked fine. I can honestly say that now, I hate that game more than even HM! rofl! If we are asked to get even more points in that game in a later quest, I should also guess that by the end of it I will have exploded lol.

pk I used to be the Crash Queen before they opened the Haunted Mansion. I never played the game the right way until I was forced to for this quest. Keep up with your gas and try not to crash there are enough animals to take picture of so do not stress you do not have to get all of them in every room. Now I got to find out what score they want for the other suits, lol

I think it is very important NOT to HIT anything in first round. That way you will have enough gas for final two rounds.

As others have said, go for the "ok"shot instead of "flawless". Weird but it works.

Linger in some of the rooms in rounds two and three. Animals will show up late.

When all else fails, seek out DocHT, she is my mentor!!!

Here are a few tips:

1) Never, ever, use the arrow that propels your boat forward. It wastes gas and there is no point. If you don't use that key and you pick up all the cans, you won't run out of gas.

2) In the second and third rounds, your boat moves faster than the animals appear. You can miss many points this way. Use the arrow key that makes your boat go backwards, and hang around in the room until no more animals appear.

3) Center each shot and wait until the LAST possible moment. "Ok" is better than "flawless." Yes, this makes no sense, but it is also true.

4) Nothing ever changes - all of the animals are in the same spot each time (with a few exceptions) so once you play a few times, you can expect them to pop up in the same places.
