Station! just look for the LIME GREEN mickey heads!!!

I just ordered my tickets for Thursday 10/5 yesterday! I'm so excited. This will be our 2nd MNSSHP, too! For costumes, I think we'll probably pick something up at the park that day. Maybe some pirate: or princess: stuff.

I finally ordered my tickets and they arrived a couple of weeks ago.

I was disappointed. They were just the Happiest Celebration on Earth tickets with the event printed on the back. I though last year I read that they did special tickets?

Has anyone else received their tickets? Did you experience the same thing?

Oh, and our costumes have changed again - 3 musketeers and whatever princess my daughter picks that night (she has her choice of Snow White, Cinderella, Belle or Aurora. Yes, I am an indulgent mama who knows how to sew!)

We check in at the Portofino Bay on Wednesday, the 4th. Staying there so we can have our Shih-Tzu with us. We'll be at the party on Thursday, one DD is JAck Sparrow ( I have almost finished sewing her costume) and the other will be a Bobby soxer (poodle skirt, sweater twin set & pearls). Counting down ! Oh yeah, dinner at 5:50 at Concourse Steakhouse.

They should, Hobby Lobby here already has their Christmas stuff out, have had for about three weeks now. :( I think that the Disney Store has theirs out now, usually it's like the end of August. Since our store closed a few years ago I have to drive to Atlanta to get anything. I completed both of my girls' costumes last week, one pirate and one bobby soxer done!

I'm wearing a white fluffy shirt underneath a boustier-typed thingie, a skirt, and a bustle. I found a pair of cool thongs from Sketchers that match perfectly.
This year I'm adding some gold coin fringe and some other pretty trim to the costume.
If you get a chance, go to the fabric store and look at the examples in the Pattern Books. They have about ten different Pirate Lady costumes in there!

it's funny, these little Sony's are pocket sized but have as many options as my old. non-digital Canon Rebel. I'm a lot more impressed with them than I thought that I would be. The best part is that they fit in a pocket (read, DH's ;)) and I don't have to lug them, or the camera bag with all the accessories around with me. I'm just really happy that they are reachargeable, we have family members that didn't spend the extra $$ for the ones that recharge, seems like they areforever having to stop for batteries. Not good. Here's a pic we took with the "old" 4.0 mp at Osborne lights last year:

We bought our "new" Sony, the 6.0 mp for ~$250 at Best Buy. Then we added a 512 MemoryStickPro flash card for <$50. Here's a picture taken with it, the tower "ghosts" taken with no flash

I just printed up and laminated a bunch of LGMH and added our names in the Disney font! We'll be wearing them on our backpack/fannypacks.

I printed out the list that DisneyMommyMichelle made to show my DH how many Dis'ers were going that night and he laughed! He couldn't believe how long the list was!

When my DD's looked at the list, they couldn't find their names. So I told them I'd post them:
Roxy Tori (13) and Kyralyn (12) They'll be Tweedlee Dee, Tweedle Dum and my DNeice SoccerFreak (I think that's it) (13) will be Tweedle Dummer.
DNephew isn't a Dis'er, but he'll be a toned-down version of the Mad Hatter.

My husband has a mental picture of all the DIS'ers lined up and when a new one comes by, everyone's gonna do the whole High 5 thing!
He's getting all goofy on me, I guess he can't wait either!

Corryn, have you done HHN before? I'm starting to think about it, especially since we'll be staying over at Portofino Bay anyhow. My biggest concern I guess is the graphicness (is that a word?) of it. Our girls are 11 & 9, they saw the pictures on the Orlando Sentinel website from the past years'.

We must have been in the wrong area. :( We looked and looked, and saw lots of folks individually (it helped that I had a recognizable costume that night!), but ended up back on main street for the fireworks because we couldn't find the meet!

Our group of 8 (one in a wheelchair) had staked out a great spot in front of the castle.... but I still went over and checked out the noodle terrace at about 8:45 and there was no one there, so we decided to stay put. I did meet Iwynlea later (awesome dress :) ) and, just to let DMM know, we watched Wishes from the noodle terrace the night before and it was fabulous!!!!

YAAAY!!! i love that spot!!! it's our fave!!! ::yes:: it did get crowded during Hallowishes though! we were surprised that our secret spot is getting out!!!
