Just back from WDW

I just returned a few days ago from Orlando. It was great. The parks are not really crowded.
For the time being, they've done away with fast pass. There were no long waits for anything.
They are checking all bags before going into the parks, especially the backpacks. They don't stop you from bringing food or drinks in your bags. It's a great time to go. While there, you should buy one of the new interactive pins. They're $15 but are really cool. They light up during different rides & events. They're great during the "Tapestries of Dreams" parade in
Epcot. My hubby and I had a wonderful time. If you can go, please by all means, do it!
This was my second time this year. The Disney magic is alive & well.

Did you fly down or drive? I'd like to hear from someone who's flown out of the New York airports. I wonder what that's been like.

Thanks for the report! We're leaving a week from today! Since there is no fast pass right now, how long was your longest wait? I thought I read someone else's post who said that Space Mountain was about a half hour wait. What was your experience?

Hi Hubby & I drove down. Took our time, enjoyed the scenery. There were American flags every where. Sorry, I didn't go to Space mountain. I'd probably have a heart attack if I did.
The longest wait we had was 15 min. That was at 'Magic Kingdom" for "Alien Encounter". At Epcot, there was Fast pass for test track. The wait was about 25 minutes. As far as I could see, there was very little waiting on line for most rides. My visits to the Parks took place during week days. I did hear that it was busier on weekends. I'm sure you will have a great time.
