If staying between 8/11-8/21...what resort are you at?

We are leaning towards a 2/8 split...POP/CR.
Just curious as to where all the other DISer's will be?

My DS16 and I will be arriving at BCR on Friday, 8/18, which will be at the end of your vacation, but I chose that resort because of it proximity to Epcot and MGM. I considered the Poly and have always wanted to stay there but for now I am pleased with my reservations.

Very interesting. I actually just decided on doing the same split stay for our next trip. I never really thought about the CR before (I dislike the looks of the rooms and the wife hates them). But our 3 children are still small so the combo of a small pool complex (to keep and eye on them but not have to hold their hands) and the monorail to the MK and EPCOT are the reason we choose CR. On top of that it's cheaper than the other Deluxes (that sleep 5 anyway).

Curious as to why you choose CR? And how your family feels about the decor?

We've stayed at CBR about 22 out of 25 visits. Have stayed at POP last three visits. CBR is a special place for us. Can't wait ! :banana:

Is it the new, updated rooms that you dislike or the old, more colorful room? We were at the CR in 2004 and love the convenience of walking to the MK!

Back to the topic...we are staying off-site (Marriott's Grande Vista) 8/12-8/19 and POR (with free dining) 8/19-8/26.
