Have never been to WDW and was wondering, do we use our hopper pass to get around? And what happens if we loose one of the passes? I have 2 teens and I'm afraid they will be "misplaced" Thanks

You don't usually need to show your admission media to use WDW transportation, but they can ask for it (and in fact, might be more likely to check for it now than in the past) and can deny you boarding the transportation if you don't have it.

DON'T LOSE THOSE PASSES!! They are your admission to the parks. If they're regular hopper or hopper plus passes they can't be replaced. You'd have to buy new ones. If you have the Ultimate Hopper pass (length of stay) they are also your room key and charging privileges (if you opted to have that). Those might be able to be replaced. I'm not sure on that, though. I've never had them check on WDW transportation for the passes, but I'm sure they could. I've never seen them ask anyone else for it, either.

You probably won't need to show anything to get around WDW. In 24 trips, I don't think I have ever been asked for a "park hopper" or resort ID to board a bus, boat, or monorail (either qualifies you to unlimited use of the internal WDW transportation system). Your resort ID is also your room key (If you are staying at a WDW resort), and that's all you'll need (can't exactly leave the room without it anyway). I believe I read that Disney does have a way of tracking down unused admission days on lost passes, so if something does turn up missing, see guest services.
