Are there ever any codes for December? I'm not very familiar with WDW that time of year, but were considering doing a annual trip for our anniversary which is December 14.

Hi,
I got a great deal for my trip last December 3-11. We ended up staying at the CBR for just slightly over what the POP would have cost me. The code was announced either late Sept or early Oct to my best recollection. I know it was blacked out over the holidays, but I am pretty sure it was available up until 12/20 or something like that. I am hoping for something similar to that for October!

I can't imagin why there wouldn't be discounts for December. But they probably won't be released until Aug or Sept (that's about the time they were released last year).

When I was getting ready to book our December trip (Dec 15-22, 2 rooms at Pop) one of the TAs I was getting quotes from told me that the last few years they have offered discounts in December so he felt there was a good chance again this year (though of course he could not guarantee). He said that they were usually released early fall.

Last year was a little weird because of the "Best Rate" plan Disney was trying out (and has since discontinued), but here what's December showed for discounts:

Check ins between 10/5/05-12/25/05 Florida resident room-only code became available on 8/25/05, exp 12/25/05
Check ins between 10/15/05*-12/19/05 Annual Passholder "Best Rate Program" (*program supposedly started 10/8/05 but required 120 day advance purchase, so first check-in date actually bookable was 10/15/05) 6/17/05
Check ins between 10/23/05-11/23/05 "available to anyone" room-only code became available on 9/29/05, exp 10/22/05
Check ins between 10/23/05-12/25/05 package discounts for general public became available on 9/29/05, exp 10/22/05
Check ins between 10/24/05-12/25/05 Annual Passholder "Best Rate Program" changed to 60 day advance purchase 8/25/05
Check ins between 12/20/05-12/25/05 Annual Passholder "Best Rate Program" 8/6/05

Since the BR plan kind of skewed those dates, if you look at 2003/2004 it might be closer to what will be offered this time:

Anyone remember what the package deal for the general public was?

My parents are taking 7 of us in Dec., so a discount would save them quite a bit.

I know that in Dec. 2004 we got a great pin code for room only - $49 Value Resorts.
