Ok! I just want to make sure I am looking in the right spot. Where do I look on Delta.com to see if our flight has been cancelled? I have been looking under reservations and it still shows for purchase. Is there an easier way to check on this? Help! Thanks for any information.

That's where I look also. I found the problem when our flight was not available for purchase, but my itinerary that is located under your FF box was still listed for that flight.

There is a section entitled Flight Schedules, this shows what flights are still there. You specify the date as well as the origin and destination. Be sure to specify "all" instead of "5" in the box "show how many", otherwise you won't see all the possibilities.

If you are a skymiles member, fill in your number on the left and click under "my itineraries". You will see any changes there.

Don't count on your changes being under your skymiles itineraries. Mine still had a flight out to MCO that doesn't exist anymore. See my post about Delta in Dec.

Delta seems to have a "twilight zone" category for semi-cancelled flights. These flights will appear in the "Flight Schedules" search, and they will still appear in "My Itineraries" as "confirmed". However, they will *not* appear if one tries to book a reservation. Those flights are effectively dead.

Just yesterday, my LAX-MCO non-stops for January finally went into the "cancelled" category so that I had to rebook.

Looks like the surest way to know if a flight still exists for your dates is to try to book it for that date. If it doesn't appear, either it's dead, or it's sold out. Go to "My Itineraries" and check the seating assignments - unless the map shows the flight is largely filled, it's probably history. (I was the *only* one who had a seating assignment for either of my January flights!)

It's always possible that your original flights will reappear on the Delta schedule sometime in the future. The Delta CM on the phone wasn't sure if it would be allowed to switch back to those flights should such a thing happen.
