We did this at the WL w/our 2 DD's. They had a great time. There is so much going on at the resorts, always ask when you check in. My kids have heard stories, went on children only tours, and played games w/cast members from the diff. resorts. Have a great time. Janice

I think they do this at the Poly at 11:00 and the Wilderness Lodge at 10:00 on Thursdays. At least that's what I read on another sight. You could call the resorts and ask. From what I've read, each guest is given a matchbox with ladybugs that they get to release on the plants around them.

I would love the information so I can avoid this at all cost. My daughter is deathly afraid of Lady Bugs. (long story) But she would have a heart attack is she was at a lady bug release. i thought they only did this at GF.

I don't know about the resorts, but there is supposed to be a ladybug release at Epcot twice everyday because of the Flower and Garden Show. I believe it is at 11:00 and 3:00, maybe in Canada?
I think there is some information on the disney site.

I saw this on Great Hotels, a TV show on the travel channel.(saved this show on DVR and just re-watched to make sure I have the information correct) They have it every morning at the Grand Floridian. It is in the herb garden off of the main lobby....it says "all guest welcome" ...not sure if that is guest of Disney World or just the hotel.

THank you so very much, I will staying at POFQ at will be dining my first night at Narccoossee's so I will inquire as to times and days. You see it is the same principle I teach at home, with the lady bugs so for ym son to see it being used at somewhre like Diseney, well then maybe Mom does know something! :rotfl2: Imagine a Mom knowing something that a 10 year old doesn't crazy right???
Hate bug sprays so the inforcement is great for me and honestly I think I want to see it more than he would!!!! :teeth: Thank you!
