Anyone game to do this challenge? It's fun and a great one if it's your first. Please sign up and I'll try to do updates daily. I will be out for a few days around Easter but will try to do at least one update while I'm gone.

Here's the breakdown for your updates:

.1 - .4 lbs. lost will be in Teal
.5 - 2.4 lbs. lost will be in Deep Sky Blue
2.5 - 4.9 lbs. lost will be in Plum
5 - 5.4 lbs. lost will be in Yellow
5.5 - 8.4 lbs. lost will be in Magenta
8.5 - 10.4 lbs. lost will be in Cyan
10.5 lbs. and over will be in Dark Orchid

Since I really just started with the diet and exercise and am pretty heavy I think 8 will be more than doable for my first month. :) (Ah, the bright side of being fat and lazy- when you decide to try and lose weight the first several pounds just melt off.)

That's OK Chris!!! Thanks!!! Since starting WW I have cut salt totally out of my diet, and when I say I was a salt freak, that does not even begin to describe it. I put salt on bread and butter :lmao: ...anyway, I feel SO much better since not using salt, I mean I can actually taste what food really is supposed to taste like. I also do not get headaches anymore. Cutting salt out has been such an amazing thing for me, and you know what, I do not even miss it!! Anyway, good luck to everyone this week!!!

Hang in there jayna - I'm up .5 right now again - I had gained 4 pounds over the weekend - AGAIN. UGH - but TOM is almost gone and I've really kicked up my water intake and my fruit/veggie intake the last couple of days. I'm hoping, hoping, hoping I can get down a couple of pounds before we leave on Thursday.

Today was my first weigh in for april. Sadly, I have no loss. :sad2: But, I had no gain! :) I maintained, but I have been walking almost every day, so if I cut out some sweets this week and get back into drinking water, I should be alright. Great job to everyone who is losing!

Well I'm happy to report that I have now lost all the weight I gained this weekend plus a half a pound which puts me now down .5 from the beginning of the month. I would be so happy if I could lose 2 pounds today (before leaving tomorrow). I don't know....

I'll do a quick update tomorrow before we leave but after that just keep posting and encouraging each other. Good luck with Easter - I know we can all do it. I'm going to The Lady and Sons (Paula Dean's restaurant) and I KNOW it will be tempting but I'll try to just eat small tastes.

I'm going to update today because I am down four pound since Tuesday and the weekend is coming!!! I have struggled for six weeks or so and this week the pounds have just melted off for some reason!!
If I gain a little by official weigh-in day, that's okay. I just need to see the number up there for motivation!

I weigh on Tuesday so I hope that I have lost more weight. When I signed up for this that day I had weighed (two weeks ago) and had lost 7 pounds. I did not count that on this so I am really hoping that I lose a good amount so I can post. It will be for two weeks. I missed going out to weigh in last week. I have been working out everyday and have walked 4 miles everyday. I feel so good.

You all are doing a Great job and I know you can make your goals!!!

Ok, I weighed this morning, and I am down 5/5 pounds. This was quite a shock since we had Easter/birthday party yesterday and I used all of my flex points for the week (I had saved them for it, so it's ok!). I'm so excited! I hope I can just keep that off and maybe lose 2-3 more before the end of the month!

Hello from Hilton Head!!!! I'm not doing an update just had a quick sec to check in. Had to come find an internet connection to do some things for work. The weather has been awesome and I'm eating actually very well - lots of salads, lots of walking, biked the other night for an hour and played an hour of hard soccer with dd today for an hour.

I hope everyone had a great easter and don't worry about those gains. They'll come off. Looks you all are doing awesome!!!!!! Be proud of yourselves for coming back here after an easter struggle if you had one.

I'll chat with you all on Sunday. Have a good rest of the week.

I did not want anyone to think i skipped out on ya....still have not gotten to WI, ( 3 weeks now) I should go friday ( have off of work= no excuses )
I am back to exercising and i eating the correct foods & correct portions ( i think) and i even started to food journal again :)

Hi everyone- I am new on the block!! I just started back exercising Easter morning and going to workout. I have improved my eating habits as well. A few minutes ago I was tempted to eat some chocolate cookies but I went back to my desk and ate my baby carrots, so maybe I do have willpower after all. I have weighed myself yet to see how much I have lost- it is probably still early in the game. But I would like to lose 5 pounds this month and the month is almost over.
Also I would like to add that I am exercising or walking at least 30 minutes a day here on out!!!!!!!!

Did a lot of walking, biking, going up and down the stairs instead of the elevator but I managed to still gain weight - I gained, from my April 1 number, 3 pounds. From where I was when I left I gained approximately 4.5 pounds. Not good but that's okay. I needed this time away from everything. I tried very hard to watch what I ate but I let the temptations hit me. Plus it was very hard to get water in every day which I know hurt me. Hopefully I'll be back down to my April 1 weight by the end of this week.

I'm heading to do an update. One more week in the month and I wish everyone luck who may need it!!!!!

Saddly, I haven't done so well trying to meet my challenge, so I'm starting Atkins induction this week (I know there is great debate over this diet plan, but it works for me). I have done induction before and I kept the weight off for over 2 years now, but I just need to lose a bit more, so I have my keto stick ready and I am hopeful. WOW, and congratulations to all those of you who have met or surpassed your goal! Everyone is doing well, good luck to you all in this last week and remember that any pounds lost is better that no pounds lost! Happy Monday!

I've lost a total of 6.1 more pounds these past few weeks!! Almost to my 10lbs goal! Yeah! :stitch:

I was down 1.8 yesterday! I am excited to finally see a loss after maintaining for two and a half weeks. I am still trying to exercise a bit every day, so even if I don't make the goal, I know I am getting healthier!

I weighed in at the gym this morning and lost 2 more pounds. My total now is 5/5 :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

My trainer can see a big diff in my weight loss. I have lost a total of 12 pounds now. :cloud9:

Everyone is doing such a great job. Keep up the good work. :cheer2:

Yeah! I'm seeing progress! I'm now down 3.5 pounds overall so that's 3.5/8. After maintaining for so long it's something!!!

I'm still hanging on to some vacation weight. I've had a hard time getting back into it. Hopefully in May I will see some progress. I need to kick it up a notch as Emeril would say.

Good job everyone!!!!! I'm so proud of EVERYONE no matter if you have lost or gained or stayed the same. You have tried, you have come back, and you are still at it. Keep it up!!!!!!

I'm down 9.4 so far, and am hoping to make the 10 for my goal by the end of the month. Looks like I'm going to be having lots of salad for the next few days. :teeth:

OK i made this months goal....down .8 today, so 5.2 for the month :)
PS i have made a personal goal 115 which means i am .6 from goal..Heres to maintence next week MAYBE! :cool1: and possible 7 weeks until a lifetime member of WW's!

YAY! I am down to 5/8 pounds. I'm in the last 10 to goal range and it's so hard to get these things to budge :) I don't think that I'll make my goal of 8 pounds, but I'm happy all the same! Good Job to all of you!

I am down to 1.5 pounds above the weight that I started on April 1. Lost some more of the vacation weight. We'll see what the scale says tomorrow for my final. I'm off to do another update and try to get the May one started...

I maintained today, for a total of 1.8/5 lost. On one hand, I am disappointed, but on the other, this is the first challenge since January that I have posted a loss, so I will take it. Congratulations to everyone who made their goal!

Good job everyone!!!! Well I ended up on the up note this month. One good thing for May - my TOM starts this week rather than in the middle of the month and that will help!

i ended up losing 16.5/5 this month (!!). thanks to everyone who runs the challenges, i've tried losing weight in the past on my own, but it really does help to have this board to feel accountable to about whether i'm keeping on track. i hope i can keep the weight loss up, and i know its gonna be harder this month since i'm going down to disney in 18 days (first time in 6 years - i'm so excited!!). i'm doing weight watchers and i'm going to try to stick with it when i'm down there.
