I don't see one yet, so I, like Chris, will volunteer to do this again. But, if anyone is so inclined, PLEASE let me know. I'll be glad to give someone else the chance. If not, I'll keep on.....

Count me in - put me down for 750. We're going to be at Hilton Head for quite a bit of the month and I don't want to try to have to "over extend" myself if I don't feel like doing anything on a given day. Plus got soccer games and meetings that are kicking in again this month.

I'm going to set my goal a little lower this month since I'll be at WDW for a few days and won't be working out (at least not in an official sense). Let's say 575.

Just commit to how many minutes you will exercise this month. Pretty much anything counts I think!

I am at 205 so far for today. I do plan on going to the gym tonight but I have gotten an hour in at work today!! 45 minute walk and during breaks doing jumping jacks, and squats. WHOOOOO HOOOOOOO!

ETA: I went to the gym after work and did 30 minutes on the arc trainer, 15 on the elliptical, and 15 minutes of upper body weights.

GEE! I feel like such a SLACKER!!!!!!!!

Yesterday was no exercise unless you count driving all over creation trying to find a pharmacy that still has albuterol inhalers!! The EPA has pulled them and they need to be re-designed because of some problem with the ozone and when pharmacies are out, they're out until there are new ones. DS16 was in terrible need of some. Everytime I got to a pharmacy(even when I had called ahead) they were then out. I finally found 2 about 35 miles from here around 10 last night. UGH!!!!!!

Today I MUST EXERCISE (and do my taxes!!)

I've been flat on my back for two days with the flu -- yuck! -- but since I'm starting to feel human again, I took myself for a very slow walk in the fresh air and sunshine. I managed 35 minutes, but it was slooooow going.

I had a 20 minute walk with my dogs, then I played tennis for 45 minutes with my friend from work, adding 65 minutes today! I have a total of 145/900! My new dog is going to be great for this challenge!

Wow! So far this month there are 53 of us committing to EXERCISE!!!


We're committed to 55,975 minutes. In one week we've completed 8,083 minutes - almost 134.5 HOURS!!! That averages out to over 152 minutes EACH! -- DID YOU FINISH YOURS????

So, we're now alsmot 14.5% done!

I did the 55 minute Billy Blanks Basic Boot Camp DVD--that about did me in for the day! I'm sure it was an amusing sight! I'm up to 350/1000, though, so it was worth it! :banana:

Basically, you pick a goal of minutes you want to work out for the month of April. Each day, you "check in" with how many minutes you work out and update this into your signature. Thanks Disneygoof for explaining. I haven't been on all weekend. Yesterday was 11 hours shopping with DD - counting 2, but we walked for all but about 3 of those. Today was a 41 min walk with DH + another 30 with DD. MY feet HURT!!

I didn't get to the gym today because I stayed home sick to nurse my DH (plus I didn't get home from the ER until 4:30 AM this morning!). The gym is at my work so my DH advised me it wouldn't look good to go to the gym after calling out sick! :rotfl2: SOOOOO, I did 60 minutes of Tae Bo Ultimate Boot Camp :cool1: For anyone that has not done it, I suggest it - it's a TOUGH workout! :goofy: Total's now 740/2500! Gonna be tough, but I know I can do it!

Hi, Julie! I am sorry I haven't been here yet this month. Is it too late to join your challenge? I am training for the Women Run the World 15K and really have to get motivated and back into an exercise routine. So, I am going to commit to 1100 minutes.
So far, I have 405/1100.
4/1 -- 1 hour wogging around OKW jogging trail and nature trail to and from SSR (3 miles plus a lot unmeasured) = 60 minutes
+ 13 hours walking in EPCOT probably netted me 4 hours walking (conservative) -- 240 minutes
4/2 -- 4 hours walking at AK and DTD and my resort, netting me probably 60 minutes "exercise" (conservative)
4/9 -- 20 minutes treadmill; 25 minutes bike (including hill training)=45 minutes

Total 405.
