I just won an auction off of Skyauction, for the 31-7, I NEVER do anything this spontanious but thought what the heck!! Now my husband is asking me all kinds of questions. Do we have to bring our own sheets, blah, blah, blah, blah. We won a 3 br suite. I told him I remembered reading on here that that was one of the resorts peopled had favorable reviews on but can anyone give me the cliff notes version and let me know if there is anything out of the ordinary I need to bring, like the sheets for the beds??? TIA

We just returned from a two day visit to CPGV. They pretty much had everything - sheets, tools, hand dryer, etc. The kitchen was also well stocked - one paper towels, small dishwashing liquid bottle, etc. It was very clean and very spacious. One problem we did have was the vertical blinds that keep coming out (individual pieces that is). They are very cheap and allow a lot of light in as well. Also, we had a problem with noise. We overlooked the turtle pool and the convenience store. People were in the pool early and until 11 p.m. making quite a bit of noise. I think there may have been some traffic to the store as well. We actually had to call security one night because we wanted our kids to get some sleep before an early park morning the next day. So if you want it alittle quieter, I recommend that you ask for a room facing away from the pool if you are in the grand villas.

Overall, we thought it was great. There is tennis, putt putt (bring your own putter/ball), and basketball. So plenty to do and it is a good location.

Please tell me when and how is the best way to place that type of request. Thank you.

I would call the resort directly a few days before you go. We were in building A and buildings B and C also face the turtle pool. I'm probably won't guarantee anything, but I would request it anyway. Also, repeat the request when you check in.

Good luck and have a good time!
