Its just a show type thing where a jedi knight picks kids from the audience to train with them and learn all the jedi moves - how cool is that?

we were there last year for the first Star wars weekend which also happened to be the day after the film came out.

Our friends son was chosen to take part in the Jedi training, i think it made his holiday it was just brilliant experience for him.

My son was a little disappointed he wasnt "the chosen one " but it was luck of the draw. Good fun though :darth: :yoda: :chewy:

This is something they do during Star Wars weekends only and sorry Queenie, it's only for kids.. and not us big kids!!

nice little thing they do befor the park oppens during star wars event is the stormtooper show they put on.Its on top of the entrance,not long but good if your a freek(or a geek)

Disney is starting the Jedi Training Academy on March 27. A stage went up last night next to Star Tours and starting on March 27, the event that normally only runs during Star Wars Weekends, will be running every day from March 27 through June 11. The reason is Disney wants to test the popularity of this event and see if it could be a permanent attraction. Younglings will only battle Darth Vader (except during the actual SW Weekends when it will also include Darth Maul

My son was chosen to do this on our first trip it was really good we got some fantastic pictures my other two sons were a bit miffed though :darth:
