Our magical gathering group will be going to the world in February 2007 and we are considering doing the fireworks voyage ride around the seven seas lagoon at the Magic Kingdom. Has anyone done this and do you think it's worth it? We will have 5 adults ( kids at heart ) and 3 kids. :sunny:

We did the cruise this past Feb. It was alot of fun and worth every penny that you spend. It was a little cool that night and they had blankets on each row of seats to use.

If you are talking about the one where you meet Peter Pan at the end, it was fabulous!!! We went in June '04 and my family is still talking about how great it was. You get to go to a dessert reception before the cruise where you will meet Captain Hook and Mr. Snee. Your "pirate" guide then escorts you to the boat. While you sail around the lagoon he plays trivia games with everyone and he hands out prizes (one ds got a telescope and the other got a hook). You get to see the electrical water pageant before Wishes begins. You have a perfect view of the fireworks and there are speakers in the boat, so you hear all of the audio. After Wishes you return to the Contemporary. That is when Peter Pan "surprises" you at the dock. You get to take pics and get autographs from him. It was alot of fun and I really do recommend it.

We went with 13 (4 kids) on New Year's Day in 2005. 1/2 of the group liked it. The other 1/2 thought the fireworks were to far away. Personally I liked it, but I still prefer watching Wishes from the middle of Main Street.

Thanks for all the great info everyone. We are looking forward to going but just wanted to make sure it would be worth it. Sounds like it will be a great time with a lot of reminising. pirate: :thumbsup2 pirate:
