I'm flying Continental. How long is check in at Newark and Orlando taking? Am I going to need a full 3 hours to get through "everything" each way?

I'd call the airlines a fews days before and see what they say.
In times of increased security it can change frequently.
I am a consultant and travel (thankfully mostly by car) and the corporate travel departments lately have been all over the place. One client was sticking with 1 hour, some with 2 hours, and one even going with 3 and reporting that doesnt always work- all are fortune 500's in NJ.
Also as an aside- for newark- go to the port authority website after you talk to your airline. Frequently they tell you to add 30 or 60 mins to 'whatever advice the airlines give'. I believe that is mostly due to the havoc up there due to construction. If your not traveling for a few weeks- actually some of the construction is nearing completion up there (parts of both new parking garages and the monorail extension/ NEC rail staion were all set to open this fall).

We had no problem checking into MCO on 10/6. We actually misread our flight time. Thought it was 7:55pm and it was 7:10pm. We planned on the 7:55 dropped off the rental, checked bags at curb with no wait (there was a VERY long inside) and made it to the gate in plenty of time.

Did I read that right?!? They are still letting you do curbside check-in at MCO? If that is true, Halleluah! (We hate having to drag our bags inside and wait in that stupid line.)
Can anyone confirm?
Thanks, Steve

As I posted, we did check in at curbside. :D Most were inside. This was before the retailiatory strikes so I am not sure about today.
