Yes, this weekend they were both running. I'm not so sure they ever went with the idea of running them one at a time.

btw: Storm Force is also open.

Last Tuesday they were doing the "one side at a time" thing. When you got to the room to choose your dragon, one side was blocked by a rope and a trash can. I saw them switch at the top of the hour. The parks seem to be dead during the week, but then seem to be quite crowded on the weekends.

Thanks for the info! We'll being there during the week so we'll see what happens.

Did you see storm force open week days as well? I won't count on it running so the kids won't be dissapointed.

Storm Force and the Triceratops Discovery Trail were closed last Tuesday. The map on Tuesday was good for the dates September 30 through October 13, and didn't list either of those attractions in it. Since Storm Force was open this weekend, I guess anything could happen.

I hope you don't have that experience we had with Ice deciding NOT to go while Fire went by five times, while we just dangled there forEVER!! :earseek: NOT FUN!

No, I would not like that! Hey at least it made you ride longer than the usual 4.5 seconds!

The triceratops discovery trail was closed on saturday and sunday both. i have a feeling you will have to endure the rotating dragon thing and no storm force due to low park attendence thru the week. Sorry. :(

I just returned from a quick trip to IOA. Storm and Triceratops were closed, but to my amazement the Dragons were Dueling! I don't know if it was a temporary thing due to high demand or what, but they were consistently dueling. Both sides had 2 trains running. The posted times ran between 20-30 minutes, but I have no idea if that's true as I wasn't in the mood to ride. If there truly was a 20 minute wait with 4 trains total running, then it could have very well been just a temporary thing. It was a good thing to see, nonetheless.

When I was there a week ago (10/1) just one dragon was running with a switchover at the top of the hour. Of course, the crowd level was really low....I was able to ride Hulk 2 or 3 times in a row, and there was no wait for Spidey!

I have a question about the Dueling Dragons - we went to IOA for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and I really wish I had a pedometer to find out how long the actual possible line could be. Was it just me, or does it seem like the labyrinth to get to the coasters is about a mile or so long? I mean really, it was truly laughable! I sure would hate to be at the end of the line if it was all the way filled!

I really hate that section of the ride(s), the long seemingly forever walk to choose thy fate. I wish the people at UC would had some better planning in the queue. It is too long, yet themed quite well. Well, I shouldn't be talking about stuff that I have no ideal about. The coaster is two rides in one, so they have the long queue to accomodate that.

No, you are mistaken. It is not for a kiss and a date at Mythos, but for the ride. :)

Must have been at *least* a couple of hours. We had at least a 20 minute wait after choosing our doggone fate! This was on the day we *walked right on* Spiderman!!

I would guess the wait for the entire queue is 3 hours.
