I finished my pieces this weekend and only need to bag them and get them sent this week. I'll let you know when they actually make it on their way.

I finished my stuff this weekend. Be kind about my paper piecing - my original idea didn't work out at all and I had to change plans. This was my first attempt at this. I'm not 100% satisfied with it, but I think it's decent.

I just have to go to the post office for stamps and envelopes, should be on its way later this week.

There are 2 we are still waiting on. One has been sent and should be here anyday. I havent' heard from the other person at all. I sent her a PM yesterday, so if I don't hear from her by the end of the day tomorrow, we may need an angel.

Also, I'm going out of town Thursday, so if I don't receive everythign by Wednesday, it will be next week before it goes out. Sorry guys! I'd hoped to get it out this weekend!

The person who's MIA is in both groups, so maybe someone from group 1 will want to angel group 2, and someone from group 2 will want to angel group 1. That way, you will get something back from both groups. I hate for someone already signed up for that group to have to do 2 different items for the same group and get 2 sets of the same thing.

I don't know about anyone else, but I would prefer just to get my items back and have one extra of what I made. I am waiting on these items to finish my Dec. 2005 trip and am anxious to get my things. I understand angeling the spot two weeks before the due date to give someone time to finish but we are already running a week late. An angel will need at least a week to get them done and mailed and then it will take almost another week to arrive, swap, mail and arrive back to everyone. That puts us past the middle of May.

Obviously, it's up to you as the hostess but I just wanted to share my thoughts since I'm so anxious for my goodies. I will, of course, abide by the group's decision.

Girls, you are all so kind! I posted about the hotel (its on the Palms suites lakeside thread on the Orlando board) but that was far as I got!!! The surprise was pretty good - my Ex got the kids home later then expected and I had to hurry it along but when it clicked they were jumping round smiling and then when we got there and our friends were staying at the same place they were even happier.. The weather was really warm -90ish most days and we used fast pass alot but I really didn't find it that crowded (maybe cause our last trip was during 4th of July) we rode Everest - we me and my DS -- not my DD ! it was soo GREAT !!! Okay, I got them all packaged and they will go out today. There is a slight problem though. I realized after I had 90% of them packaged that I was just sticking them in envelopes and not matching the names on the bags w/the name on the envelope. So if your gallon ziploc bag is someone elses, dont' worry about it, all the same stuff is in there. Sorry about that. I'm new at hosting and it was way too late at night. The good news is that I took pictures and will try to post htem today. :cool1:

I got mine today. Everything is beautiful. I love getting swaps back because I never fail to look at all of your items and get inspired. There are always things that I say, "I never thought of doing it that way" or "What a great use for that item." More ideas to try!

And Christina, I realize now I was a total idiot and labeled all my bags with the wrong group! I'm so sorry! I know hosting must be tricky enough to keep everything straight and then I had to go and throw an extra challenge in there! No more packaging late at night for me!
