Well It's Mother's Day Weekend (and I still have not got round to getting my Mother a pressie!)

Today I'm off on a 'Child Protection' Course for Toddlers which is going to be as much fun as um as um - winning a free trip to WDW and finding once you get there that you aren't allowed leave the hotel room :teeth:

I think things should improve tomorrow when my Mum is cooking lunch for us and I finally get to see my pressie which DD couldn't resist telling me about :)

So what are your plans?

Got to take my youngest to get his godmother (my sister) a bunch of flowers. (Pity no one will have taken him to get me a gift - ah well). Got to cook lunch then wash up and then work (cleaning at our local hospital - my sister in law died on the ward I work on last weekend so it feels really strange). I know No. 1 son has got me a card and No. 2 son is making his tonight when I'm out of the way, I know they love me really and a coffee in bed in the morning and I will forgive them the pressie bit.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL MUMS

We've got nothing planned, hubby is treating me to a Chinese take-out tomorrow (last of the big spenders - eh ??) so that I don't have to cook, oh well better than nothing :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hi everyone,

I have declared tomorrow my day off as a mother of 3, so tonight I go out and drink as much as I like without having to get up tomorrow morning, and then I shall go to the cinema for the afternoon and watch a couple of movies. Sleep and movies, just bliss :cloud9:

Have a good weekend everyone,
Claire xx

Well, I should imagine my weekend will be pretty much the same as any other. Just had the mail delivered and no card from my girls so they've probably forgotten :sad2:

Off to do the supermarket sweep this afternoon ;) and then tomorrow will be taking Daniel swimming in the morning, then cooking Sunday lunch as usual.

Still DH has ordered my Mickey Toaster from the Disney Store online so I can look forward to that arriving in a couple of days time and DS made me his first ever cup of tea this morning bless him :)

I'm chilling out this morning after just getting home from the gym. We're going out shopping this afternoon, I need some new clothes :teeth: Then were are going for a meal and a few drinks.

Tomorrow I am taking my mum for lunch and then we are going to see The V****a Monologues, so a nice girly day tomorrow.

Just going to Dis for a few more minutes and then I'm off to wrap my mum's pressies.

Aha! I saw that with a friend and I didn't know what to expect. It was great fun. I saw it with Sarah Greene in and it was funny to hear a Blue Peter presenter say some of the things she had to ;)

Sue ~ You will absolutely love this. We thought it was fab ~ a real girly show, the kind you see with either your mum or your friends. I did feel really sorry for 3 men who were in the audience. Carol Smilie pointed out to them during the break, total embarrasement.
