Our 10/27 flight cancelled!!!

OK our first direct flght from BUF to MCO was cancelled. We got another for 2 hrs later, though. That turned out to be a good thing now that we have to be at the airport 2 hrs before the flight.

Now that direct flight is cancelled. Now, we have a 3 hour layover and instead of getting to MCO at 11:45 am we don't get in until 3:30 pm. If our connections are on time....had anyone ever had a connection for USAirways on time?

I cancelled the tickets and am now on the lookout for a flight out of BUF for the 26th. At least if we miss a connection we won't be missing any part of our planned vacation.

I will say this, the folks at USAir were very very pleasant. Even jovial.

I will ay least save $$ on the new tix...about $60 a ticket. That should pay for the extra day in a hotel anyway.

I am always sprinting through the airport for my USAir connections. :) I never seem to get much leeway, usually an hour between first plane landing and second plane taking off, and the first plane never seems to land on time.

LOL! That is exactly what I am worried about too! I originally booked our USAir flights with 90 min. between flights but now that's all been changed and my connections (as scheduled today :rolleyes: ) are all less than 60 minues apart. I'll be wearing my running shoes for sure! :p

I just cancelled my USAir flights and booked through Southwest.

We will be staying 1 more night now. We would end up havimg t leave bright and early on saturday and there is no way I am going to loose a days vacation. So now we leave in the morning on sunday.

I also saved $330.00 !!
