Ok, don't quote me but I have some possible good news concerning the fall.

My mom recently attended a AAA travel fair with her boyfriend who she will be taking to Disney for his first trip ever (at 59 no less LOL) and was informed by a Disney Cast member that Disney Travel will be offering a vacation deal this fall that will be alot like the one they offered in 2004 (7 nights for the price of 4) but even better then that.

So I was thinking maybe it will be 7 for the price of 4 with free dining, kind of a combo of 2004 and 2005's fall vacation deals, both of which we took advanatge of. Looks like that early october disney trip may really pay off for us :Pinkbounc

Wow that would be great! We had booked that deal for Nov. 05 but had to cancel do to personal reasons, was upset about it because it was a great deal. It would be amazing if they did it with free dining!

OMG that would be so cool ! I've been sitting here WAITING for something to come out for fall! Hard to convince DH unless I get a deal of some sort....so I haven't made any of my plans yet......I'd join AAA just for that !

I'm toying with trying to get a trip to the world in in October. The prices right now really aren't that bad to begin with. $1500 for 2 adults at a moderate with parkhoppers for 6 nights.

I so want a major deal for the fall not like spring deal? Free dining for 7 for 4 would be perfect.

Wow! That would be great! :Pinkbounc We already have a trip scheduled for December, but my DH and I are celebrating our 10 year anniversary this year and going to WDW on an awesome vacation plan would be wonderful! Did the cast member say when the deal would be announced?

Thanks! :goodvibes

That would be nice Going in June and DEC and would like to get a small trip ( nonpoints all gone don't want to borrow to deep) So I'm looking for AP or reg Discount or will just rent some points for transfer.

I made reservations for the end of April yesterday. I mentioned the great free dining deal last fall. I was told that there is something new coming out soon. When I asked when, she told me that April 4th would be a great day to check the website for details. I'm hoping it involves free food, or maybe passholders will be able to start purchasing the dining like DVC members.

Crossed fingers!

I hope it's something good for a 3 or 4 night trip. :) The 7 for 4 wouldn't work for us... we don't have that much time off!

I'd sign up in a heartbeat, even if I had to go by myself.

I heard (from a travel agent, but not an AAA agent) that it will be something BIG - not something smaller like a free ticket upgrade. I also heard it will be announced in early April - probably by next Friday. Free dining plan is a distinct possibility.

As much as I would like free dining, with the mention of 7 for 4, I'm guessing the dining would likely be 7 for 4 too.

We're booked for December, but I would definitely change our plans for a great deal!

Disney Visa holders received an email saying the offer is available 4/1-3, open to public 4/4.

It's not 7 for 4, but it is dining. :)

Here's a link to one of several threads on the Codes & Rates Boards.

When did these deals start and end the past couple of years. We've gone in Dec. both years and I don't even remember the 04 deal at all.

I'd love to push our trip up if the savings is that substantial, but Oct/Nov is going to be tough for us.

In '04 we had booked this deal for November in May so if this deal is comming we may see somthing in a couple months.

People on the Community board and some others have reported seeing Free dining on the WDW website... whether this is a april fools joke or not I am not sure

I think guests started getting e-mails about the free dining offer already, from what I read under the code board. (VISA)

The offer is open to Disney Visa holders today and the general public on 04/04/06 I believe.

Although this deal is great the OP was refering to a different, the one that was offered two years ago where you get 7 nights for the price of 4 and the OP thought that this deal would be made sweeter by the addition of free dining. Nevertheless, if I had to choose between the two deals by themselves, free dining or 7 nights for the price of 4, I would pick free dining, I would save more money.
