I just got mine in the mail today and I have to say I think I will sleep in them. They are SOOOO comfortable and really are nice looking flip flops. These will be my shoe of choice for my May trip.

Where can I find Crocs for me and my dd? I know some websites have been posted before but that the sizes are somewhat different than buying "regular" shoes. I'd like to go to an actual store to be able to try them on.

So tell us, how does the sizing run? I really thought about ordering a pair today in hopes of having them by next week when we leave.

I have been considering buying these as well. How is the comfort after walking all day?

They are the most comfortable shoe. We just came back from WDW. I wore my tennis shoes for the first 3 days and started getting a nasty blister, plus my feet and legs were sore. I would wear my crocs around the campground in the evenings and felt great so I decided to try them at the park. Needless to say, that was my shoe of choice for the rest of the trip. Run out now and get a pair, or two!!!!!!!!!

I agree, they are very comfertable. As far as the sizeing....small is a 5-6 medium is 7-8 and large is 9-10. I am a size 7 in womans and the medium size fits just fine.

I think the flip flops (Athens II) come in whole sizes. I ordered the size I normally would wear and they fit fine. I bought the Khaki/blue ones and wish I would have gotten one of the wilder color combinations. I have only wore them around the house a couple of times but they seem comfie. I don't have feet problems when I'm in WDW so I guess that's why I can't get too excited about them. I ordered them online after looking in about every shoe and sporting goods store in the Chicagoland market.

ktmdad450: Thanks for the feedback! I used to wear flip flops in the parks all the time and then on one trip, somehow, I hurt the side of the bottom of my foot (make sense?). Everyone swore it was because I was wearing flip flops and ever since I have been afraid to hinder another trip with a foot problem. I will give them a try. Thanks again for the help! :sunny:

I'm going to the world in May and I'm looking for comfy shoes to wear I have wide feet and Crocs sound great but I have a stupid questions. What are the made out off? They look like rubber. Do your feet get sweaty in them? What size should I order I wear a 6 1/2 to 7? Thanks Nancy

I hated them! They were too big across the top of my foot and just did not fit right. My mom bought them off of me since they fit her. I went and bought a pair of Nike flip flops and was much happier.

They're made of an impact-absorbing resin material. It's slip-resistant, mould-resistant, skid-resistant, doesn't absorp water or bacteria. I think the patented name for the material is croslite™ PCCR. It's really a neat material that sorts of takes the shapes of your feet. And super light.
As for sizing... I wear shoes sizes 8 to 8.5 and would be more comfortable in a woman's medium for Crocs. So I would say for you, size Small? There is a sizing chart on the crocs site.

Could anyone answer about the sweaty feet? My dd has sweaty feet and last summer had a real problem with her cheap Target sandals. She is supposed to be wearing natural materials - like Birkenstocks - but I wondered if the Crocs would work for her?

Which style are you referring to? I have three pairs of Beach Crocs in all different colors and the closed toe (I think it is the Aspen) for work.

I also have very sweaty feet and find that all Crocs styles are wonderful. If you are looking for summer shoes or shoes for a Disney trip, go with the Beach style. This shoe is the original style and has an amazing ventilation system on the sides, top, and toe area. She will not have a problem with these. The air flows right through; it is like A/C for your feet! :)
As a side note, I have not worn any other shoe (literally - work, play, etc.) since I bought my first pair a few months ago. When we go to Disney in December, I am only packing my Crocs.

I bought mine at Island Surf (http://www.islandsurf.com) They had free shipping, making them $32. I bought Athens in black in a WOMENS size 8 (I normally wear an 8.5). They're a little long on me, but I went to Dick's Sporting Goods and tried on a 7 and my foot was hanging over the side a bit. Also, the toe bar is a little thicker than my foot is used to. I'm not sure I'd wear them to the parks, but I wore them all day at work yesterday (even our publisher wears flip flops and rides a scooter to work) and didn't have a problem.

I tried on a pair of the Athens at the mall on Saturday and I was sooooooooo disappointed! I love flip flops and wanted these to be wonderful like my Caymans but they just weren't! The toe post was very hard and had a sharp seam that rubbed my second toe just walking around the store. Oh well... Glad I didn't order them without trying on! I'll keep looking for comfy sandals or flips for my July trip.

I'm a big, big Crocs fan and wear them all summer long. I just spotted the flip-flop style in Von Maur yesterday and swooped up a pair of the blue/white ones. They are amazing...like walking on a cloud. For me, they are even better than my Beach or Cayman pairs because my feet are so much more exposed (I like this). I love wearing flip-flops and I love Crocs- a match made in heave.
BTW- At Von Maur they had black, khaki/black, pink/green, blue/white- all were 30. a pair in came in whole sizes.

Thanks for the REI tip. I ended up buying some of the Athens flip flops. I didn't know that they made them for kids! I ordered some for my DD4 and for myself today on the Crocs website. Also, they have XXXL and XXXL sizes in the Beach Crocs. My DH found that the XXL was too small for him (yes, he has big feet! ;) ) I ordered some of those in the XXXL for him.

Would you reccomend them for men? My khaki Beachs don't cross the odd border but I'm not sure about these.
And the person who had plantar faschiitis problems, I'm not an expert at all, but I think they would be okay. Can you return them if you order online?

I think you can flip it up so it rests on the top of the shoe, instead of at the heel.

I have a pretty large feet and I'd love to try crocs, though I KNOW what they're going to look like. Big colorful shoeboxes with short little legs sticking out...but anyway. I also have flat, very wide feet. Anyone else with similiar feet? Can you wear crocs? :confused3 If not, what do you wear? My feet hurt almost constantly (I am on my feet at work)...and I REALLY don't want to suffer while at WDW. Help please!!! :sunny:

Technically you can flip the heel strap forward - however - it doesn't "work" like on the clog styles. On those styles the rivet for the heel strap is towards the back of the foot so therefore the heelstrap is rather short. On the Niles, the rivet is about at the center of the foot, making the heelstrap longer. Therefore, when you flip it forward it looks dorky and goes to the toe area.
I don't know if you could remove the rivet to take the strap off. You'd have to pry it or something.

Well, I went this morning and picked up a pair of my very own Crocs flip flops...and I have to say...they are THE MOST COMFORTABLE SHOES EVER! I wear lots of flip flops anyway, but these are a dream come true! I've worn them all day..grocery store, WalMart, walking around downtown...and my feet feel like they've had pillows strapped to them all day. I am so impressed! Thank you for bringing these wonderful little flops to my attention! :thumbsup2
Of course it is only day 1...however, I can tell when a shoe is going to bother me and when it's not. These I really don't think will. I'll be buying more colors this week I predict. And they'll get to take a trip to Orlando with me in 6 months!

For the person who ask about Plantar Fasciitis--I am no doctor but I have had this for quite sometime though I have not had surgery (yet) and other foot problems and DEFINITLY ask your podiatrist--Mine says NO WAY!! If you have had surgery...you will need a lotof support now to the Tendon area that was just released!! Crocs just don't offer that kind of support--comfy ..yes but I think you should ask you doctor about shoes best for you after your surgery.

For those of you that would like to get your feet wet with a cheaper version of the Athens, I found the Airwalks version online at payless.com. I initially ordered the navy and black Athens from crocs.com for my March WDW trip. They felt really good!!! I thought they looked too large and after they arrived in local stores, I was able to try on other sizes. They were indeed too large. I returned them to Crocs with the intention of buying the correct size at my local store. Last week, saw them on Payless in really bright colors, green and tourquoise, pink and yellow, white and ???, and blue and ???. I immediately ordered the green and tourquoise and the pink and yellow, They came in this Monday and I love them. I still plan on getting the black on black Crocs when they are in stock at my local store. I wasn't really fond of the shade of navy so I wont repurchase those.
I agree that they fit kinda funny. I don't like how the straps are, but I guess that adds to the comfort since your foot isn't rubbing against it constantly. I will take the funny straps over foot pain ANY DAY!

after seeing all the croc posts I did try on a pair of these flip flops...I found them to be extremely stiff and and uncomfortable...are they supposed to fit like that? I mean the foot bed was stiff and not cushiony at all! Seriously no give whatsoever... I couldn't imagine wearing them for five seconds let alone a day at WDW...did I just get a bum pair?
but as I'm sure y'all know by now, I am devoted birkenstock fan! Maybe I'm spoiled for other shoes for the rest of my life! :rotfl:

I have 10 prs. of Birks -- but I'm a Crocs convert now! I thought the toepost on the Athens was stiff at first but after a couple of weeks, these are just fine. I've since bought a pair of Beach Crocs, and my Niles just came in (debating on whether to send them back).

Sorry bozley0621, I must have been seeing double that day ;)
The one I ordered online had a rough edge on the right toe post, I filed it down a bit but it does still bother me a bit if I have them on all day. I just bought the lime/fushia ones at Hallmark today and they did not have a rough edge and the toe post seemed softer than my other pair. I got them for $17 because Hallmarks most recent catalog had a 40% off coupon on the back :goodvibes

I tried the Payless Athens version yesterday and they are not nearly at good. Darn! I've been wearing the Crocs Athens for 2 months now and still love them. I can't wait to wear them on my June Disney trip. :sunny:
I did try the Niles but they looked dorky on my feet so I sent them back. I could never bring myself to wear the beach/cayman ones but my 15 year old boys wear them and my 10 year old DD loves her Airwalk multi-color pink ones.
