Hi I just got off the phone with my EM and she told me that since I want to have dinner after my intimate wedding that it would probably be best to pick a place to eat at the GF.
Has anyone eaten at Cinderella's Fala Feast? What is it like? I am having a hard time picking a restaurant that will suit everyones needs and likes as I have a lot of pickey eaters that will be attending our FTW.
Any suggestions? Would I overdo it if I were to go in my dress- our intimate is at 4:00 so we should be done by 5:30 with everything and that's when the first seating is.
Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

is that the 1900 Park Fare character buffet dinner? (duh yeh)
We just ate there recently. the place sure is filled with little princesses princess: princess: princess: so just becareful if your dress has long train or puffy.
I think the food is pretty good, got a nice variety for anyone. paradise for the prime rib lovers :teeth: Strawberry soup can seem weird at first but just try it as dessert. :thumbsup2
and if you never seen a whole giant piece of Turkey breast...you'll find it there lol ( that turned me off a bit and didn't eat the turkey...)
but overall everyone liked it!
Cinderella will stop by your table usually just once to take pictures with everyone. but other characters will go around repeatedly. Even the cast members are delightful there!

I think a buffet is a great choice for picky eaters. And, Cinderella's Gala Feast is one of the best on property in my opinion. We will be eating there following our vow renewal on May 1. Our ceremony is also at 4:00, but our dinner reservations are not until 7:00.
I am going in my dress and my DH and children will also be in their wedding attire. I'm figuring we will be overdressed, but am not worried about it. If my DD and I have trouble with our dresses at the buffet, then DH will just have to "serve" us food! :rotfl2:
Good luck with your decision!

That's funny! I'm sure someone will help serve me if I am having problems in my dress. :rotfl: So at least I'm not the only one thinking about eating there in our wedding attire.

I think it is a good choice--especially if you are having children at your reception. The characters will be there (Cinderella, Prince Charming, Suzy, Perla and the Fairy Godmother will be in the lobby) as well as the fact that they don't have to order and wait for appetizers to arrive, then wait for dinner to arrive, then wait for dessert to arrive. You can be seated and then immediately get your food and start your meal. I know that my kids do much better when they are "famished" if they don't have to sit and "be quiet" for 1/2 hour after we give our orders.

i went to chef mickeys after my intimate and although we did look a bit overdressed (everyone else was in shorts and tshirts!!) we had a great time, dont let small things like that worry you, do what you want to do, its your day!!

I believe one of the Intimate brides had her wedding dinner at 1600 Park Fair a couple of years ago. She wore her gown & even had Randy join them so he could get pictures of the "reception"

I am also an Intimate bride and we are hoping to have our pre-weddding dinner (what would be our rehearsal dinner if we were having a rehearsal...lol) there for the character buffet.
I am thrilled about the idea since we are having a Cinderella theme - our invites say "Please join us as we celebrate with that other pair of famous newlyweds, Cinderella and Prince Charming, at their Gala Feast."
My mom and I are heading down to WDW this weekend so that she can see the WP and the hotel and we'll be dining there on Sunday.
I have been teasing my FH that we'll have to go back the following night when I'm in my dress so that I can get pictures with Suzy and Perla! :goodvibes
