What to do about my National ressie now that my flight time has changed?

We're going to be getting in two hours earlier than before, so what do I do about my National ressie? If price is the same, is it easier just to make a new one and cancel the old one? Call them direct? Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to be getting in at 9:30 pm instead of almost midnight, but I would like to have a car ready! TIA!

If it were me, I wouldn't do anything. The rental car companies usually only ask for an arrival time as an estimate anyway. Your reservation will still be in their system if you arrive at 9:30PM or 11:30PM. It doesn't seem to be worth the effort to change it for only 2 hours different. I am sure that all the rental car companies are aware that peoples arrival and departure times are being moved around a lot with the new airline schedule changes.

I have often picked up a car early and never hada problem.

Also I sometimes reserve with the rental car pickup several hours after arrival in case of plane delays.

keep in mind though that picking it up early, depending upon when you return it might add another day on your ressie???

Just used national last week and had the same problem. Our flight changed from a 9pm arrival to a 2pm arrival. I called national and they said no problem. They just changed the time. It didn't affect the rate because it was still within the same 24 hour period. I had to call them again and change it back to 9pm when they changed our flight again but thats another story.........

Do you think I should call or just leave the ressie the way it is? My 9pm arrival changed to a 2pm arrival, with this time change it will not add any extra days to my rental. I currently have a total of $185 for my dates, if I try to make another resevation it comes up $385!!!
