Since everyone here is doing so well at helping with tiaras and jewelry--I want to be next, pretty please!! ;) I am positively no good at accessorizing and tend to wear my wedding rings, mother's ring and my watch with the same diamond stud and gold hoop earrings everyday. :confused3

That being said, I need some tiara and jewelry ideas to wear with my dress for our vow renewal. :bride: The gown is ivory with beading and gold thread, so I definitely need a gold tiara and jewelry. I don't want anything "too much" but think I need a little "something". Please share your ideas and thoughts!

Your dress is so pretty! I don't like a necklace with a halter but I'm not a necklace person, that's just me. Have you looked at bridal boutiques near you? Cathy's Concepts has some very nice jewelry. Go to http://www.cathysconcepts.com/ and search "gold" for lots of ideas. I think some pretty dangle earrings would be nice with that dress.

I think a simple crystal drop on a gold chain would look lovely with that dress, or no necklace at all. I think matching drop earrings would complete the look beautifully. A choker type necklace could also work well, if that's the style you prefer. I looked around on eBay for you, and I found this gold Givenchy necklace. This is just like the one we bought for our daughter, except in gold, and for a lot less than we at the store for hers!

If I find a beautiful drop in gold, I'll post it... but so far I haven't had luck with that. You might be able to find one in the better jewelry section of a department store, either with the Givenchy or the Monet. I checked Carolee's website and didn't see any gold with the bridal jewelry at all. ~Ev

Okay, do any of these appeal to you? I think the buds necklace and earrings would look very pretty with the detailing on your dress, though I like the navettes too.

cryssi - I'm really not sure. I go for a fitting on Friday and will check the tags then. I'm not sure it is by any of the big name "designers". I just liked that it make me look thinner!!! :rotfl2:


Your post says March 1, 2006. Is your vow renewal in 2007????

If you can find out who it is made by, I might be able to ask the different bridal stores if they have it when I go looking. Yes that style is very slimming. After 4 kids I need all the slimming help I can get. :teeth:

I can't wait to go dress shopping for our vow renewal. But I'm under doctor's orders to loose weight so I'm going to wait till closer to that time.

Just wanted to let you know the dress is by Mori Lee. I love most of those dresses, so I'm surprised I did'nt realize that my dress was by Mori Lee as well!

Thank you for posting who made your dress. I looked Mori Lee up and found lots of designs I really like. I even found a couple that I like for my daughters as well. I can now call ahead to some of the wedding dress shops and go to the ones who carry these designs first. Thanks you again.
