My wife has an invisable disability and with much discussion at Guest Relations , got an alternative enterence GAC from our DisneyLand visit last year. This just saved our trip! Can she use the DL GAC at DisneyWorld, or do we have to go through the whole frustrating process of getting a new GAC? If we bring the DL GAC, do you think the CM at Guest Relations will spare us the 3rd degree of why she needs the alternative enterence?
Thanks!

Having it with you will not hurt. You cannot use a DL GAC at WDW, they look different. Also, it is a lot harder to get a GAC at DL because they have so many local people who come regularly that they attempt to work the system in their own favor (in other words, cheat).
At WDW you will not get questioned as to why. All you need to do is have the person who needs it with you and explain the needs.
Also, if you click on where it says "disABILTIES" at the top of this page it will take you to the Index. The third item down is the "disABILTIES FAQ" which will gives lots of useful information.

Thanks so much for the reply. I've read the FAQ and it does contain a lot of good information. I just didn't see anything regarding the DL GAC being used at WDW..and now I have my answer! :)
Hopefully this will be a much smoother process. I think we'll bring the DL GAC with us and maybe they won't question it.
Thanks again

They do need to figure out what your needs are, so there are a certain amount of questions. They don't need to know why (so they don't need to know the diagnosis), but they do need to know what is needed.
