Hi everyone...I know this is a pain but I originally found some tiaras and Ev so graciously pointed out that the silver wouldn't go with the gold of my dress very well. So thanks Ev :worship:
Below are my final tiara and jewelry choices. All of the ones posted on top are the ones Ev found. They are a little over the budget I had in mind but if they are the best ones, that's what I want to go with. All of the other pics below the collage she made are the ones I found. So what to go with??? :confused3

Hmm...I think I like Jewelry set #3 and Tiara #1. I'm not sure I like the drop necklace for your dress. That's what I had for mine and I never thought it "fit" the style, even though it was beautiful. I think that's one of those need to try it on type things maybe. All of the tiaras are beautiful, I just think that #1 may be the easiest to style with.

I think I'm leaning more towards necklace 3 too. I'm afraid the whole drop style will go out in the next few years and may draw more attention than the dress. I'm at a tie for tiara#1 and #3. I like tiara #1 but its $70.00 #3 is half that is made of the exact same materials. I don't know if I should go for looks or cost

Love necklace #3, and even before I read your second post, I was voting for the third tiara (with #1 a close second). The gold is very pretty and elegant (though I personally am a silver/white gold fan ;) I just might change my mind)

Hmmmm, I think I like Tiara 3 best. Honestly, your dress is so detailed, and since you are wearing a tiara, I think a necklace might detract from your beautiful dress. The dress has such a pretty neckline, that I think a necklace might be too much. I guess if the dress was more simple, a necklace might spice up the overall look. Anyway, just my opinion! I do love the tiara and the dress together! princess:

Hey Courtney!
Do you think I should still wear earrings or leave them off?

:goodvibes I would wear the earrings....I think it would be a great way to tie everything together. And because they are dangle earrings, they will add some length. Hope this helps!! princess:

I like tiara #1 and necklace/earrings #3 the best. I also thought a drop was too much, but there was no other gold necklace that was even close on the website. The third necklace will give you just enough without being overpowering, especially if you are wearing your hair up. Good luck! ~Ev :)

Thanks so much Ev...you are such a sweetheart! You input has really helped and if you didn't have that neat way of overlaying pictures I would have never realized that silver wouldn't look so hot.
I'm buying everything online b/c I am on a budget. All of the boutiques I have been to mark up items by nearly 60%! It makes it harder to find everything online but its a lot easier on my pocketbook, lol. Thanks again!

Thanks Jessica! I'm gonna need that luck, lol. I love my dress, but when I bought it I didn't give a single thought about the accessories I would have to buy. I see a lot more silver stuff, the gold is a little harder to find and less selection. I'm just glad I finally found something that I can work with :goodvibes

What are the return policies for both the tiara vendors? I know Princess Bride takes things back within 2 weeks and gives a full refund. What about the other vendor? If they both have good return policies, you could order both and see which looks the best with your face and the necklace/earrings you choose, and then return the one you like least. That way you'd know for sure that you picked the best one for you. HTH! ~Ev :)

I have to agree with Courtney about the necklace. Your dress is very ornate and the necklace may compete. I do however like earrings #1 the best, and tiara #3. But as I said in the title of my post. They are all beautiful choices.

P.S. I will be doing some of this same "What do you think girls?" in a few short months. Mind you my disney vow renewal won't be until spring '08, but gotta start making $$$ decisions soon.

Here's why I don't think a necklace would compete with a heavily beaded bodice:

For more photos, with and without the veil, click here (http://scotsonrocks.com/vowrenewal/dis/Kate-disney.htm).
The dress pictured is white with silver embroidery and crystals, but the beading and needlework are very ornate. IMO, with a strapless gown, there's enough distance between the dress and the earrings that it looks rather bare without a necklace. Without the jewelry, the attention is drawn to the bust rather than to the bride's face, whereas a necklace with earrings and tiara or headband frames the face so that the attention is drawn upward. ~Ev
P.S. - The photos are of our daughter, Kate.

Ev - your daughter is beautiful!!
For what it is worth, I like tiara #3 and jewelery #3. What site did you find them on? I am still looking for accessories for our vow renewal in ONE MONTH!!! and haven't found something I love yet. I also have to get something in gold as my dress has gold accents. I have been debating on a necklace and trying to decide if I need one or if it should be round or a drop. My dress has a halter neck.
Thanks!

I love tiara 3 and jewelry 3 - that tiara is stunning! I had those same earrings and the matching bracelet in silver for my wedding!
I don't wear necklaces normally, but I where a bracelet every day so that's why I didn't go with the necklace but I think it will look fine with your dress.
Best Wishes :goodvibes

For tiara #1 and necklace #3 - I really like the way a smaller necklace looks with the strapless bodice - it lets some of you show through! ;)
One thing to consider, though, that my FH pointed out when I first saw mine - if you have blond hair, the gold tiara might not show up very well. When I first tried on a gold one, my FH shook his head and said no, no, no - he said he could barely see it at all. I was really surprised at how insistent he was on this, but he was right - for "bling" effect, I went with silver. Not that Ev isn;t right about the matching, I just thought you might want to consider this if it applies...
As for the price difference, I will tell you that I sepnt $110 for my tiara - and that was on sale! I had tried on bunches and once I saw that one, I knew it was the one for me. If it's really the one you want, I'd say go for it. Your tiara is small enough that you can keep it around and display it if you want to, unlike your dress.
Good luck - I hate choosing! :confused3

Oh my gosh, they're all so beautiful!! I agree that #3 is probably the best, though. I really like the way it picks up the detail in your dress (which is GORGEOUS, by the way!).
Can't wait to see what you decide on! :sunny:

def. necklace 3, but it's a tie between tiara 1 and 3!

Definitely tiara 1! Necklace 3 if you must, but I also agree that you might not need one with all that going on in your bodice. I also had a sweetheart beaded bodice, and I just wore some really fantastic earrings... :)
tiara 1 and dangly earrings...that's my vote! :)

Cryssi -- Off topic, but looking at your photos in your signature, it looks like your wedding was unique and lovely! I love the water tower cake... very cute! Do you have your photos set up somewhere so we could all take a look?
Mommy Poppins -- We do feel quite blessed with Kate... and with our son, Brad, too! Thank you, and I'll pass on the compliment to Kate. ~Ev :)

Sajetto,
Did you ever decide on what Tiara and Jewels you are going to wear? I was just reviewing my subscribed threads and came across this one and was wondering what you had decided.
Best of luck on your most special day! :grouphug:

Hey Lisa!
I sure did. I picked tiara #3 and no jewelry. Once I got the stuff in the mail and tried it on in davids with the crinoline, veil, shoes the unanimous vote was no jewlery b/c it competed with all the embroidery and the tiara. I'm just going to wear the simple diamond earrings my sister has. I just returned necklace #3 to the store last week. Thanks for all the help that you all gave me! :wave2:
