I hope this is the right place.. how far before a birthday is too far ahead to celebrate your birthday at the parks?

This is for way ahead but I'm a planning weirdo and it's helping me get past the long drought of disney withdrawel I have ahead of me.... I'm planning to take my family to disney .. a surprise trip... a month before my mom's birthday, my nieces birthady, and mine. I'm not going to celebrate mine... but was thinking of letting them know it's mom and niece's... and I am going to have a cake delivered to our room and maybe a Peggy's Creations gift... do you think a month before a birthday is just being silly? Their birthdays are in October and I want to take them in Sept because the crowds are so low then and as much as I"d love to go for halloween... I want my niece's first trip to be good old basic disney without dealing with Halloween.

I say go for it! What better place to celebrate? They'll always remember it, and that's what life is all about. I think a Character meal would be a blast!

ANYtime is a good time to celebrate in disney----I took mt sis-in law in de cember for her birthday (which falls at the end of september). We are going on MY ACTUAL B-DAY this year in two weeks and I can't wait-----either way it makes for a double joyous celebration----if you make them up birthday pins HERE IN SEPTEMBER FOR MY OCTOBER BIRTHDAY with their names and such all the cast members and characters will make a big fuss over both of them. You can stop at the town hall and get birthday buttons too, but they just say it's my birthday today, and your neice may try to explain it/ get annoyed or confused over that. Enjoy planning for your trip! :wizard:

Thank you both so much! I'll do it! I love the pin idea... is there an easy way to make these?
