I've done a search and can't find a definitive answer.

We're addicted to coffee and will be bringing coffee with us to OKW. However, I don't want to drag my coffee maker in the van.

We're in a studio and I'd like a 12-cup (or at least 8 cup) coffee maker instead of a 4-cupper. Can I get one from housekeeping? Should I bring basket or cone filters? Thanks for the info.

Almost all the studios I've stayed in at OKW the last few years have the larger 10/12 cup drip makers. They use basket type filters. There may be a few of the old style 4 cup makers still in service, if your unit has one, just call housekeeping for a newer unit.

Yep, full size coffee maker, and there will be started packs of coffee as well. If you bring your own coffe, bring basket type filters.

What is a "basket type filter". I have a coffee pot that has a plastic cup that I put a white paper filter in and the coffee goes in there. Is that different :confused3 ? I'm coffee illiterate, my DH is the coffee drinker and I would like to know what to bring when we go.

A "basket" type filter is the traditional Mr. Coffee paper filter, the "bowl" shaped ones versus the "cone" shaped ones.

We take the pre-mixed coffee in the sealed filters for easy of travel. The coffee they have at OKW is not very good and it cost an arm and leg at the store next to Olivia's...smjj

Coffee is not a problem for me, One cup in the morning and I am happy.

Thank you for clearing that up. :thumbsup2
