How many hours would you say it takes to do US. Lets say we skip Fear Factor, Monster Makeup. Just a rough estimate please. No shows, no sit down eating. :confused3

A lot depends on 1) when you are going (such as busy season or not). 2) How early you arrive at the park. And 3) whether you have express plus passes, hotel express, or whether you are going to wait in the regular (stand-by) lines.

Ok, sorry phamton, I'm so bad on detail. It will be on April 5th, we plan on being there soon as the gates open, we will have express plus passes. Hopefully no regular lines. And staying off-site.

If you are there at opening with express passes, a guesstimate would be 6-7 hours for just Universal Studios. On April the 8th and for the following week the parks will be open until 10 PM so expect crowds from April 8 through the next week.

Or since your getting there as soon as they open the gates, you might be in luck. Last year my fiance & I got there really early & the gates were still closed. They opened the gates & we didn't have no express passes nor we stayed on-site, so we got in & went straight to "The Mummy" which the lines for that, are super long. After we went to Shrek & then to T2-3D & last MIB. It took us 1hr & 45mins. Those are the only rides we like in Universal. Afterwards we headed to Islands. Good luck :thumbsup2

Just an aside, unless you have seen it before, don't skip the Horror Make-up show. It's one of our favourite things at USF and soooo under-rated :)

I saw posted somewhere that if you show your room key, you can sit in the front row at the Horror Makeup show..is this true?
