Where to start?

Okay, it is me again, the worry wart. We are doing the 2 park/1 day thing with express pass plus. DH wants to do IOA first than go to US. However I think we should do US first, than IOA. My reasoning is this. At IOA we will get SOAKED. So if we do that second, and the water rides last, we can go straight back to the hotel. Doing IOA first, there wouldn't be enough time to go back to the hotel to change and do US. So, please share your thoughts and oponions with us. Thanks

are you staying onsite or offsite? if your staying onsight then it would be easy to go back to the hotel to change.

Opps sorry. We are staying offsite at the Doubletree Hotel at the Entrance to Universal. But we are only at US/IOA for 1 day.

Your plan to do USO first is what I would do if I were in your shoes.

FWIW, if you don't want to get soaked at IOA, you can bring a poncho for the wet rides. DH and I were actually driving home directly after leaving IOA, and this is what we did. We still had a blast on the wet rides and stayed relatively dry for the ride home. We bought our ponchos at a drugstore before we left home for our trip and paid about a buck apiece.

you can also find the cheap ponchos in the camping section of WalMart, KMart etc.
We buy them to keep on hand in the parks if it rains. The pack are only about the size of a credit card (about 2x as thick) and easily slip into a pocket.
