Is Davenport close enough to stay as an off-site option?

I live in the Davenport area and it is only 12 miles to the parks from my house. That isn't far at all.

My entire extended family is going...22 total. i'm only responsible for our 6 :woohoo: my kids will be 3, 5, 7, and 8 when we arrive....i've bought the books (Disney with Kids and Unofficial Guide) and am starting to plan...any tips for a first timer....oh yeah, we are staying off site due to the cost of having 22 people come :grouphug:
